- Rated 4 out of 5by Celerijucator, 2 years agoHighly recommend installing this if you want classic non-advertising in YouTube videos. Ability to configure what you do not want to see. Problems with this still are user submissions and ease of override content itself.

posted 2 years agoIt is a bug in the server code, but I haven't figured out why it is happening - Rated 4 out of 5by CaféHaine, 3 years agoThe extension itself is working well, but it seems that submissions on smaller channels tend to be quite bad (inaccurate timings or just wrong)

It saves alot of time when watching guides and heavily sponsored content, but recently the addon stopped auto skipping even though it's enabled. - Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 17141374, 3 years ago

- Rated 4 out of 5by zilexa, 3 years agoWhat is unclear about this addon: does it ONLY block sponsors or also the regular video ads (prerolls) before a video and between videos in a playlist? And what about regular image ads on the website but outside the videoplayer?
I guess the question is: do I need 2 add-ons, yours and AdBlocker for Youtube? Or does your add-on also block actual advertisements that are easy to recognize/do not need crowd-sourced library? - Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 14131010, 3 years agoDoesn't skip segments that are located at the start of a video.
- Rated 4 out of 5by NightShade the Wolf, 3 years agoIt's a great tool, it doesn't get all of them, but most of them.
- Rated 4 out of 5by Sepheris, 3 years agoLove the extension, does exactly what it says. The only issue I have, which stopped me from rating 5 stars, is the whitelisting feature. I have tried to add Internet Historian and Incognito Mode to the whitelist several times, but only seems to last for the video I'm on. As soon as I watch another video, the segment is skipped again.

The function to mark and edit segments are really unintuitive though... - Rated 4 out of 5by Alfred Schneider, 3 years ago
- Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 16717195, 3 years agoПриложение огонь! Сам участвую в резке рекламы - отправляю сегменты, но снимаю 1 звезду, потому что отправить кусок - это целый квест, сервер вечно не отвечает или недоступен или еще чего. Трудишься - а результат передать не удается.

- Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 16561453, 4 years agoWorks excellent. Only complaint is that there should be a way to report false positives that the script catches.

posted 4 years agoThere is no script, it's 100% user submitted. Make sure to click the downvote button when it is wrong - Rated 4 out of 5by FF user 17083219, 4 years agoVery good addon that can enhance the Youtube experience. Only small downside is there is a leaderboard for submitters which I found out leads to people rushing to extremely popular channels and the second a video is released quickly spam segmets everywhere, often halfassed which leads to awkward cuts and overreporting of segments. If the incentive for doing this is removed it will become even better.
Developer response
posted 4 years agoAny removed segments don't count on the leaderboard, so I doubt removing it would help with that problem. I removed if for a little while and didn't notice any effects.
