- Rated 4 out of 5by Ad-Free Life, a month agoI'd never use youtube without this.
Segments can be a bit overzealous. I'm surprised by what gets upvoted sometimes. "Highlights" in particular are just confusing more often than they're useful IME (why would anyone want to skip the first 10 seconds of Old Town Road?), but it's more of a problem with categories that you might generally want to autoskip, but sometimes have segments that don't fit the category rules.
So, this is a bit more of a compromise than traditional adblockers are. But I'd rather occasionally hassle with unskipping a segment than ever hear an ad-read for a VPN ever again. It's a net positive by a huge amount. Thank you Ajay and everyone who tags segments. - Rated 4 out of 5by Sourav Satvaya, a month agoThis extension does what it claims to be, but there's one issue on the mobile version. When I'm watching a video on full screen and if that video has a sponsor part, as soon as the video comes to that part the extension is forcing the player to exit the full screen.

- Rated 4 out of 5by Heinrich Lunge, 2 months agoThis extension is one of the best things after uBo, it is just superb, but there is one thing that bothers me, recently a rewatched a video and there was already a sponsor segment marked, but it was wrongly timed, I corrected it, but my marked segment was not saved even though it was the correct one, I think this should be fixed, even though I downvoted the wrong segment, it is the one that still appears in the video.

- Rated 4 out of 5by makaThird, 3 months agoNow it does not show and skip segments with default ad server. Even with uninstalled other addons. Have to change it myself. Thanks to other user in comments !

posted 2 months agoIn some countries such as Russia, they have blocked the main sponsorblock server - Rated 4 out of 5by 3HY, 3 months agoIt works well and saved me a lot of time, although I found a really annoying bug that stops the progress bar from working when using it on Firefox. It won’t show any elapsed time and will only indicate your position in the video when you hover over it to see the red dot. The only fix I’ve found is to completely reinstall or disable the extension, and even then, that only works for like an hour or two. Please fix this! I don't wanna go without the extension but I can't STAND this bug!

- Rated 4 out of 5by Viktor, 9 months agonice addon, but unfortunately the "vip users" oftenly downvotes other people's suggestions from their alt accounts just to place their own segment mark on exact same spot and farm the views and likes

posted 9 months agoOur goal is to make the best skips possible, even a small change in milliseconds can cause problems when skipping.
Make sure to use the preview button to make sure your segments are skipping well so that a moderator doesn't have to spend time fixing your mistakes. - Rated 4 out of 5by LiberaEspero, 9 months ago

- Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 12402596, a year agoК сожалению ютуб стал медленней с данным расширением, слышал они специально противоборствуют подобным блокировщикам и замедляют что бы отключали. Пришлось отключить и надеяться на обновления с обходом замедления.

- Rated 4 out of 5by Valpie, a year agothe extension works well but rarely instead of skipping it goes to the start of the video. i like to use it to watch youtube in pop out when im playing games and not having to skip stuff manually. only "Auto Skip" can be used when im playing games and sometimes "Filler" runs on too long but i dont want to skip it. i think something like "Auto 1.5x/2x Speed" would be nice
- Rated 4 out of 5by pyzor, a year agodo NOT use youtube without SponsorBlock. Despite the name it does NOT block: it hides. It's akin to CSS "blocking" which also only hides. It hides by skipping. The sister extension solves clickbait. Continue to win the war on ads Privacy HarM with privoxy for firefox.
The SponsorBlock defaults are unacceptable. Enable EVERYTHING to skip. Disable self promotion. Win. - Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 18196933, a year agoReally love this extension - it greatly allows to save time . And option to add "sponsor" "remember to subscribe" timestampts etc is very easy to understand.
I only have one question- would it be possible to add another category for "health hazards" like epilepsy?
I seen few videos that have flashy lights that can cause epilepsy attack and no warning and thought about option to report a fragments like that for other safety as well - Rated 4 out of 5by Mohindra, a year ago
