- Rated 2 out of 5by Firefox user 17970086, 7 months agoThis would be perfect if it checked more often. Sadly it's practically useless as it stands due to the huge quantity of users refreshing the site every few seconds, even grabbing studies with auto-accept scripts. A lot of the time when you do get a notification it's already full.
- Rated 2 out of 5by DC Writer, 7 months agoIt notifies you for every study, not the studies you qualify for; i.e. meaningless and near-constant notifications

- Rated 3 out of 5by Ivanion, 7 months agoIt seems that it checkes for studies at random times. I for sure saw it not cheking for a few hours or checking every 2 minutes. This leads to a loss in the possibility of taking more studies. At least it is better than checking directly the website all day long.

- Rated 3 out of 5by Luminous Matter, a year agoUnfortunately does not take into account the study filters you have set up on your profile and notifies you anyway.
- Rated 2 out of 5by Firefox user 17756477, a year agoIt works well for me but badly needs a dark mode toggle or to respect system-wide darkmode. The site responds well to darkreader but that doesn't extend to add-ons. It can't be that hard. Most addons that have a dropdown menu have a darkmode option.

- Rated 1 out of 5by Lymiss, 2 years agoBeen using Prolific for over a year now and the website is great. The extension for Firefox was fine and working well up until a couple of days ago. Firefox had an update that for some reason messed up my settings on the browser and I had to do a fresh install to fix everything. Since this, the extension is not updating and it shows "err" on the little icon. When you click on the refresh button, it won't refresh. I am missing out on studies because of this. Hopefully this can get fixed soon.

- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 12322469, 3 years agoIt works fine for me! And the reason things are gone already is because everyone is going for it. Chill!

- Rated 1 out of 5by JM9, 3 years agoPractically useless, it does not refresh for hours at a time, and on the rare occassion that it does detect a study, even if you immediately go to Prolific the study is almost always already full.
- Rated 5 out of 5by timtak, 3 years agoYou still have to be quick, but generally I can get there quick enough to be able to take part in the study.
- Rated 1 out of 5by chrisa, 3 years agoIt worked well until the last update. Since then it stucks, checks every 2 min, which is worthless, all studies are left with 1 or 0 remaining places.
- Rated 1 out of 5by AshleyL, 3 years agoNo longer seems to tell you if there are surveys available. You have to actually be on the website for it to tell you at all. So, there is absolutely no point in downloading this addon. Seriously. Don't waste your time with this.
