NotePeeker is a lightweight browser extension for reading Markdown files directly in the browser.
It automatically detects direct
GitHub's own formatted Markdown pages are left unchanged. Raw Markdown files, local files, and Markdown hosted on other websites are supported.
NotePeeker does not collect analytics, require an account, or send document contents to any external service. Settings are stored locally in the browser.

.md file links and opens them in a clean document viewer with:
- Readable Markdown formatting
- Headings, lists, tables, links, images, quotes, and code blocks
- Zoom controls
- Light and dark themes
- Print support
- Full page-width viewing
- Plain Markdown source mode
