About this extension
Nitter / Anartia redirector allows you to automatically redirect to privacy-preserving front-ends when navigating to a Twitter (X) or Bluesky URL.

You can specify your own instances to use. The defaults are xcancel.com for Nitter and anartia.kelinci.net for Anartia.

You can enable or disable each redirect by itself. By default, the redirects are turned off.

Due to the design of the declarativeNetRequest, the redirects only work when navigating to a top-level webpage. To make them work in embedded contexts, the extension would need to request over-broad host permissions for every single domain.

Nitter / Anartia redirector is free software. See the source repository for more details.
