Hover over image or video thumbnails or links to instantly preview the full-size version in a high-performance floating popup. MediaPiper is not just another previewer; it is a modern, intelligent discovery engine designed for professional research and fast media workflows.
The Mission: From Brittle Rules to Intelligent Discovery
MediaPiper began as a passion project to solve a fundamental problem: the outdated, manual "sieve" systems used by extensions like Imagus. These traditional systems rely on fragile, site-specific rules that break the moment a website changes its code. Not to mention, they're manually curated.
MediaPiper changes the game with its "Canary Pairs" concept. By using a sophisticated discovery system that automatically identifies image patterns and CDN structures, MediaPiper "learns" how to find full-size media on its own, site-specific rules are now optionally manual. If a pattern changes, the engine adapts. It’s self-healing, intelligent, and designed to stay out of your way.
