- Rated 5 out of 5by leggy, 3 months agoNow youtube is not playing because the ads are blocked, I would like to add an exception for the domain of youtube (by decision, I mean, an option to add domains)

posted 3 months agoHere are some instructions for adding YouTube to the allow list for ads/trackers:
1. Click on the Browser Guard icon in your Browser's toolbar.
2. Click on the "..." top right of the page
3. Click Allow List
1. On the Allow list screen, click the +Add website button.
2. Enter the website's URL in the Add a URL or IP address field.
3. In the Disable protections drop-down, click Ad trackers.
4. Click Add to allow list. Browser Guard will no longer block ads from this site. - Rated 4 out of 5by KUMATICA, 3 months agoImpressions after about a week of use.
Individual pages seem to load faster, but the behavior of the browser itself before and after loading seems to deteriorate (especially when multiple pages are opened at the same time).
Also, some sites don't respond to reCAPTCHA authentication, which may have been blocked.
I think the ability to detect trackers and block malware domains is high, scam sites (phishing?) aren't counted yet, so I'll leave them out of the current reference.Developer response

Check out https://www.malwarebytes.com/android, there's no browser extension available right now, but at least you can get some more protection. - Rated 5 out of 5by Romain, 5 months ago

- Rated 4 out of 5by Briadd-on, 5 months agoHaven't really encountered any big issues with it, it works like expected from what I can see. I've been using it since November 2022 on Firefox and before then on Chromium.
- Rated 2 out of 5by wietop, 5 months agoThe extension works most of the time, but every time I go to weather.com, it freaks out and I just keep getting redirected, with the numbers on the icon going up like crazy. I've cleaned my cache, I have the latest version of the extension, so I don't know what the issue is.
