About this extension
Unfortunately because Youtube is an SPA, this requires intercepting the Youtube player and polymer js packages and essentially replacing "/shorts/" with "/v/".

There is also a part that will read youtube.com urls on new requests that have "/shorts/" in them and convert that to "/watch=v?"
