How it works
- Downloads started in the browser are handed to the Fetchster app on your Mac over native messaging — no save dialogs, no duplicate downloads.
- Right-click any link → Download with Fetchster (works for
magnet:and.torrentlinks). - If the Fetchster app isn't running, the browser downloads normally.
- It does not inject scripts into pages or read page content.
- It does not request access to cookies, history, or browsing activity.
- It only sends the download URL and the browser's User-Agent to the Fetchster app running on your own machine.
