Software seems to becoming more complex...not a good sign. - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 13928180, a year agoThis extension is currently broken. Attempting to use DuckDuckGo with it will simply fail to load the website.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Franz, a year agoI really like DDG, but DuckDuckGo Privacy Essentials give me nothing but trouble. It says my browser “has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete.”
On top of it, I find it difficult to only have DuckDuckGo as default search Engine without DDG Privacy Essentials.—Help! - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 18064784, a year agoI am a huge fan of DDG and use the search engine as my default. Unfortunately, this plugin appears to be incompatible with duckduckgo.com--it causes a redirect loop and the page fails to load. You should already have most of the features it provides through other recommended Firefox extensions, so I think disabling it is the way to go for now. I also think I was missing a lot of the annoying features because ublock blocked them--lol!
- Rated 1 out of 5by PJ, a year ago1 star because without warning they changed my browser search engine and I was very frustrated while fixing it. They might have written it somewhere in fine print, but that's even worse.
- Rated 1 out of 5by A., a year agoI don't know why it has so much high rating. This search tool is just useless. Results are not relevant and it has been impossible to delete the add-on. Even when you delete it and click on the home button it's still DDG as a search tool. I've finally be able to delete it. Don't recommend it!

- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 17789171, 2 years agoSpyware, clear and simple. Just another way to sell your info for money. Didn't think DDG was so underhanded, they used to be trustworthy. Deleted.
