- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 15810750, 7 months agoDropping support for such a BS reason. Guess I might as well get rid of AVG altogether if this is the kind of treatment Im going to expect.
- Rated 1 out of 5by SyrslyTTV, 7 months agoDoesn't protect as much as NoScript does and is kind of invasive. AVG is also dropping support for this extension, stating the reason as Firefox not being popular enough.

- Rated 1 out of 5by Tomajjs, 7 months agoThe extension would deserve even 5 stars but AVG discontinued this extension. I value that they inform you about that when you open your Firefox but they won't let you use the extension anymore. It uninstalls automatically. The reasons they mentioned for doing such a unexpected step were very stupid and dumb (the reasons were really, really that bad). Very bad take AVG and couldn't even think of good reasons.

- Rated 1 out of 5by edithann, 8 months agoI'd love it if you stopped trying to pick my pocket with add ons, it was why I quit McAfee AND Norton and i won't be renewing this one AGAIN either

- Rated 1 out of 5by Jason80, a year agoThis AVG add on page opens in a tab every time I start Firefox. I don't want to install it and there seems to be no way of stopping AVG automatically opening this page. It's getting annoying. AVG should not be doing this and Firefox should not allow 3rd party software to interfere with their browser.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Rosemonde, a year agoJe ressent AVG comme une vaste escroquerie.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 17926999, 2 years agosince a recent AVG antivirus update, I keep getting a tab opening in my browser for this plugin. I don't want it, but AVG seems to think I should have it. Stop it.

- Rated 1 out of 5by Andal, 2 years agoThis addon has become dishonestly politicized. It blocks the social media ".win" network falsely claiming the entire thing as a "Phishing site". The same rationale behind this could be applied to facebook, reddit, twitter or any other social media site since anyone can ( and regularly does ) post phishing links on those sites as well. Shame on you AVG for this blatantly political nonsense. Your job is to protect people from online security risks, not to tell people what to think. 1-star for obvious political bias. Uninstalled and will be deactivating all my purchases to AVG.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 14250295, 3 years agoPiss poor scanning performance. Requires 3 interventions to complete a scan AND demand to remove add-ons they consider low rated. Screw them

- Rated 1 out of 5by Broffrey, 3 years agoAvoid this kind of useless AntiVirus extensions that in facts can spy what you are looking on the internet, it's just collecting informations on you to profile you and similar customers to finally target ads/products/services. That's desguished spyware in counterpart to provide you a pretended nice service for free.
And just about the service provided: this kind of extensions (lots of similar exist like this one) can modify the webpages on-the-fly and also can censure some parts or search results to guide you to buy to a specific shop/information site/etc... instead of a concurrent. And guess who is paying the extension editor to do that? Sellers? Governments? ...?
Mind again before adding browser extensions! - Rated 1 out of 5by Daniel, 3 years ago
