Haven't seen anything like this in … ever. It is very thorough, able to find images that have been edited, resized, cropped, or vary in color. It even finds "meme" versions of images, like (de)motivators, macros, and inserts in comics.
Have a tiny thumbnail? You can probably find a wallpaper version that goes with it, if it's out there. Produce your own artwork or photos? You can find those [negligent souls] who are using (or selling!) your work without permission.
Only bad thing is that their catalog doesn't cover every single image ever created. ("Oh boo hoo, it didn't find my one photo I just took so I'm rating it 1 star…")
So useful that it is downright painful to use browsers without something like this installed.
It does get annoying when Firefox updates and it complains about AiO being incompatible. I just updated to FF8 myself, and AiO worked fine until the next session when Firefox actually checked add-on compatibility. (Most AiO updates these days are just to slap on new version numbers in its config file! You can get by with a little tinkering in its install.rdf file.)
A required install for me. I can't imagine browsing without it.
I would like to see a way to easily copy settings from one computer to another (such as in a bookmark like NoScript does for XMarks). In the meanwhile, you can find the settings strings in about:config and paste them into another FF.
Check out Marc's page to get v0.20 for FF3.5. Bonus points if you can do it without instinctively trying to use gestures!Diese Bewertung wurde für eine vorherige Version des Add-ons (0.20.0) abgegeben.
A comprehensive gestures tool for Firefox 3.0. Very similar to All-In-One Gestures for 2.0.
Compared to AIO, it sports a tighter interface. Gestures can now be defined either by motion or string from the same window. Commands are organized by class, allowing one to find and define more quickly. A script editor is also available to create high-order gestures.
Users of AIO will notice that the mappings are much more strict (e.g. "Open in New Tab" will no longer open blank tabs, and must be positioned on a link at gesture start). Also, "wildcard" gestures and multiple definitions are not available without delving into scripting. FG does not work in certain areas, such as the empty area around plug-in-only pages (QuickTime files, for instance).
