Toaru Kagaku no Railgun

Bewertet mit 5 von 5 Sternen

Simple yet perfect capture of Misaka's personality and character. Great job on cleaning up the image from the OP, details remain intact and scales very well on bigger resolutions. Choice of a black background was perfect, helps to emphasis Misaka and her electricity. Image size is great, still looks good where the top bar is set to a minimal amount of total pixel heigh, and just looks better the taller you allow the top bar to be.

Flashblock

Bewertet mit 5 von 5 Sternen

Plugin has delivered so far at every site I've visited. Can now visit a few new sites that were previously inaccessible due to flash epic overkill; and is satisfying as hell to see all those flash ads blank. Was well worth downgrading to 3.5.8 since 3.6 seems to have issues atm.

Save Image in Folder

Bewertet mit 5 von 5 Sternen

This plugin is pure awesome, simple, elegant, and efficient. Can already see how much time I'll save from using it and not having to switch folders each time I save a .png or 7z; really makes browsing go faster and wneh you finish all your stuff is already pre-sorted.

Very nice compact navigation buttons, good looking and compact. The context menu's and their animation is very well done.

Torbutton

Bewertet mit 4 von 5 Sternen

The application itself works beautifully, there is a trade off that comes along with total anonymity - speed. When browsing sites that are primarily text oriented there is a slight decrease in speed, if the site is image heavy the bottleneck is enormous. D/L speeds were cut down bu a factor of 10, going from an average 450 kb/s to 20-50 kb/s. For browsing image galleries Tor isn't very practical, browsing felt as slow as back in the days of dialup.

Tor definitely works though, watching what's going on behind the scenes is really amazing, a great live example of onion routing. Only way to really make full use is constantly toggling it on and off depending on the site. It'd be a nice GUI enhancement if they placed a real button on the toolbar at the top so toggling can be done quickly.

Despite the reduction in browsing speed I would still recommend it. Since it's (relatively) easy to turn on and off it can be toggled quickly as needed.
