breaks FF 52 Bewertet mit 2 von 5 Sternen

After updating to FF52 you won't be able to open any links in a new tab. You won't be able to use bookmarks and a lot of menu items either.
You'll have to run FF in Safe Mode and disable this addon. Or download firefox 51, install it and disable auto-update.

Gmail Manager NG

@m1ndh4ck, @chococat, @Ruca22; + occassional login problems Bewertet mit 4 von 5 Sternen

@m1ndh4ck: How about turning off the automatic login on startup in the general options tab?

@chococat: I moved my GManager account icons to the addon bar (accounts>modify>toolbar>display placement) and now they're always displayed at the end of the navigation bar.

@Ruca22: Options>Toolbar - switch off "Automatically switch to account with new messages".

As for the addon itself, ever since the FF29 update, the account logins tend to lag every now and then... Sometimes they don't want to login at all.

Classic Theme Restorer (Fx29-56)

Mostly good, but... Bewertet mit 5 von 5 Sternen

Using Classic Theme Restorer 1.1.8 along with Classic Toolbar Buttons 1.3.9 I was almost able to reach the perfect balance between the old design and the new one. Almost.

Some of the problems I've encountered:

1. Moving the star-icon to the urlbar removes the improved bookmark button entirely, instead of just separating itself from it.
2. Restoring the default layout loses some of the addon icons. They can only be brought back by uninstalling CTR and installing it back again.
3. After the 28 to 29.0.1 update, the navbar/addon buttons have all turned "small" with the difference that "normal" buttons have a lot of free space around them. The icons themselves are still "small". This addon doesn't fix that. (Neither does CTB).
3.1. "#nav-bar[iconsize='large']" doesn't enlarge navbar icons, only some of the addon icons (for me: WOT, ABP, Gmail Manager).
3.2. "Show large icons" only enlarges back/forward and refresh buttons, breaking some of the other ones and making too big of a size difference between the aforementioned three buttons and the rest.

I wish we could bring back the real "normal" size buttons. (Their size betting the middle between "large" and "small"). And be able to apply that size to ALL navbar/addon buttons.

Finally Bewertet mit 5 von 5 Sternen

Finally, a way of leaving the dropdown menu open after opening a bookmark with a middle-click.

There is a small issue, though - if I set the long-time middle-click to open in background, then the short-time middle-click automatically starts opening in foreground. I only need the tabs to open in background, so an option to either disable the long-time middle-click or make it work the same way the short one does would be helpful.

Mouseover Bookmarks Toolbar

Helpful Bewertet mit 5 von 5 Sternen

I was looking for a way to remove the required click for a while now. Thank you for fixing that.

Would you mind also adding a custom delay option for opening the sub-folders on mouseover? At the moment the default delay of the main folder (menu) opening is 0ms. If someone decides to keep it at that, then the sub-folder delay becomes a bit of an annoyance.

Keeping customized order of search engines after changing ".undefined.undefined" to ".xml" Bewertet mit 4 von 5 Sternen

@DeepFreeze3 DeepFreeze3:
I was able to keep search engines in the correct order by going to the profile folder (one level above "searchplugins"), opening files "search.json" and "search-metadata.json", and replacing ".undefined.undefined" with ".xml" in them.
Obviously, that was right after actually changing the extensions of the files in the "searchplugins" folder.
Each of these changes has to be done while FF is turned off.

I hope that helps.

P.S. You can also use "search-metadata.json" for manual adding of search engines this addon couldn't create.
First you read this https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/Add-ons/Creating_OpenSearch_plugins_for_Firefox and you make the .xml file for the website you wanted, then you put in in the "searchplugins" folder in your firefox profile folder, and then you add this line: ~,"[profile]/[searchname].xml":{"order":[the current max number +1]}~ (without the tildes), right before the last "}" in the "search-metadata.json" file. (You can add it earlier in the line, too, but it might mess up the order of the engines)
