Just what I needed.
Pretty sure this is my favorite add-on. Invaluable. The one reason I can't switch to chrome :)Diese Bewertung wurde für eine vorherige Version des Add-ons (0.9.2010020502) abgegeben.
Feedly is an incredibly slick and easy to use RSS aggregator for Firefox. The layout is extremely clean and customizable. There are plenty of features for power-users (keyboard shortcuts, social networking tie-ins/integrations). There is also a "feedly bar" that you can enable to appear at the bottom of your browser while you search the web that gives you the ability to do really great things like email the page you're on to a friend or post it to twitter with a comment. I love Feedly. It's how I browse my favorite news sites. It's iterated upon quickly and the developers really listen to the community for new features. What an amazing tool Feedly is.Diese Bewertung wurde für eine vorherige Version des Add-ons (2.1) abgegeben.
Socialbrowse has found its way in to its permanent place in my browser's side bar. Not only is it a good way to share links with friends, but it's also a really great way to stay abreast of new, interesting websites and converse with others in real time!
It's a very young product, and as so, there is room for improvement. I'd like a way of splitting up comments from links to keep the experience clean. As it is, it can be a bit confusing to follow conversations as new comments are added.
One of my favorite extensions. Thanks for the product!Diese Bewertung wurde für eine vorherige Version des Add-ons (0.9.7.6) abgegeben.
I think the way I surf the web may have permanently changed. And I don't say that lightly.
I heard someone else say the same thing about me.dium, and it really does encapsulate how freakishly cool this piece of software truly is.
so, me.dium is an extension for firefox. An add-on, if you will. It loads and sits in the sidebar, to the left of your webpage. It consists of two areas. A "map" and a "friends pane."
The map shows you sites related to the one you're on, as well as little icons that represent other people on those sites. They're just anonymous people... or not... depending on whether or not your visibility is set to "all," or "friends only," or "visible to none" -- But I'm getting ahead of myself.
Me.dium adds a level of "personal" to the internet. The web is a lonely place. Sure, you're browsing around and you know that at any given time there are thousands of people looking at and for the same things you are looking at and for... But who are they? Where are they? Can you interact with them? Not until now, you couldn't. Hello me.dium.
What is super cool about me.dium is, you can sign up, add your friends to your "friends list," and if they are surfing and using medium at the same time, you can see what they're up to. yes, you can see what page they're on.. and you can click on their user icon and it will take you to that page.
i spent about half an hour the other day surfing around youTube with a complete stranger. We jumped from movie to movie making jokes and commenting the videos. It was really cool!!
During the day, I can see what Randy in NC is up to... Or what article Adam in NYC is checking out... And we can all chat in chatrooms together. Snazzy, yes? You can be as personal or as open as you want to be.. Share your location with just friends.. Or with no one.. Or with everyone...
If you use Firefox, you should be using this extension.. because it's a lot of fun. It adds a much needed layer of personality and intimacy to the browsing experience... and the internet SEEMS a little "smaller" than it used to be, despite how freakishly large it truly is.
