YallaDira adds a summary chip to Hebrew apartment-rental posts inside
Facebook groups you're already browsing. Instead of re-reading a long post to
find the price, room count, or phone number, YallaDira extracts those fields
for you and shows them as a small overlay on the post itself.
What it reads. On
text of listing posts that your own browser is already displaying, and pulls
out structured fields: price, number of rooms, size, floor, neighborhood/
location, parking, entry date, deal type (rent/sale), pets, furniture,
elevator, shelter/mamad, and — when the poster included one in the post text
— a contact phone number. Nothing is read from any site other than
Facebook, and nothing is read unless it's already visible in your feed.
Where your data goes: nowhere, by default. Everything YallaDira extracts
and stores — the post cache, your settings, your favorites and any notes or
corrections you type — stays on your own device, in your browser's local
storage. There is no YallaDira account, no YallaDira server, and no
background or automatic network request of any kind. No analytics, no
telemetry, no remote code.
The one thing that does leave your browser — and only if you choose it.
YallaDira has an optional "Report issue" action on each chip. If you click
it, a report page shows you the exact payload (the post text, its HTML
snapshot, the chip's extracted fields, your settings, and some diagnostic
info) before anything is sent. Only if you then click Submit is that
payload emailed to the developer, via a third-party form relay
(Web3Forms). Closing the tab without clicking Submit sends nothing. This is
the only outbound data flow the extension has that carries listing content;
the other two outbound actions (opening an address in Google Maps, opening
the developer's support link) are plain link clicks that carry no data from
the extension itself.
Where it works. YallaDira only requests access to
website.
YallaDira is an independent, unofficial project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Meta Platforms, Inc. or Facebook. "Facebook" is used here only to describe the website the extension works with.
