Per site condition is great. Bewertet mit 5 von 5 Sternen

Works as expected. Very convenient to set the user agent string on a per domain basis.

Must have! Useful config & per site UA String! But it doesn't support the modern firefox feature -- multi-process usage to effectively distribute the load.

Great way to browse Netflix on Ubuntu! Bewertet mit 4 von 5 Sternen

This add-on is great as it allows me to change the user-agent for just Netflix on Firefox on Ubuntu so that Netflix works. After version 49, Firefox is fully capable of playing Netflix content natively but for some reason Netflix refuses to serve its content. I use Chrome Linux's user-agent to successfully watch my favorite shows. It'd be great if it had presets for all popular browsers so that I wouldn't have to find and copy paste the UA of another browser.

Only really use it for the YouTube. Bewertet mit 5 von 5 Sternen

I only really use it for YouTube. Since I hate HTML 5 over flash. However it has worked excellent so far. Haven't had it fail or bug out once. Sometimes have to use it for really old websites, still works.

Works Great, Sometimes Get "Connection is Not Secure"(Partially Encrypted) Bewertet mit 3 von 5 Sternen

I'm impressed. This addon actually works great on a per-site basis.

However, sometimes when I browse YouTube or Reddit or some other site with the add-on enabled, the lock symbol next to the url becomes a warning symbol with the text "Connection is Not Secure" and with the technical details saying that the website is partially encrypted. Can this be fixed? Or is it just me who's experiencing this?

Greate, better as all other User-Agent overriders. Bewertet mit 5 von 5 Sternen

Verry good, but i miss a option to configure and add some custom User-Agent strings for the "Custom" field to choose it quick.

Combined with User-Agent JS Fixer, this solved my problem!

Yay! I can lie to Netflix and Netflix alone! Bewertet mit 5 von 5 Sternen

Netflix only works on my machine if I lie to it and tell it I'm running Microsoft Windows. (Dumb Netflix). The other user-agent switchers didn't seem to allow site-specific spoofing, which was a problem since other sites (like gmail) would get confused and break.

The pipelight website claims that UAC doesn't work with Netflix, but I'm using it now and it works great!

While whatsapp being Browserism (word play based on Racism lol), I felt really mad at whatsapp for doing this. After researches I found out people on reddit says WhatsApp uses an API that was exclusively for Chrome. I then gave up.

One day I thought of researching again, then I found a webforum that mentions a userscript that should mimick Chrome's API used on whatsapp web. I then used it and installed a UA changer.

But such UA changer changes the UA globally, thus making mozilla add-on page thinks I am using chrome.

Late at night I decided to search on google with the correct keywords, and then; I FOUND THIS!!!!

Now I can use whatsapp web peacefully while not breaking some firefox exclusive sites.

PS: I could've used other messenger but sad enough people here prefer whatsapp, they do not yet notice the term "freedom"

Unlike UserAgentSwitcher, UAControl actually allows site-specific overrides, despite general.useragent.override.A.SPECIFIC.SITE not working in FireFox 34 and up.

Worked great for me to spoof a Windows UA string for netflix. Firefox 28 on Linux 64bit.

Predefined UA strings might be nice, but it was trivial to discover and write the correct string I wanted.

Exactly what I wanted to not be spamming an incorrect UA by default to every site I visit.

Not working as of Firefox 28 (Linux x86_64).

Major flaw... Bewertet mit 3 von 5 Sternen

The extension cannot differentiate between sub domains. for example, suppose you want to send a particular UA string to everything on but a different UA string to This is not possible with this extension.

I use this to spoof my Linux browser as Windows on netflix. It would be nice if the icon could change appearance to indicate whether the current tab has a custom UA setting active, and if there's a predefined list of UA strings to choose from. An editable list like the "Override User Agent" would be very nice, although that extension doesn't support per-site settings.
