Welcome to Torma2ls, an application developed by Alex Torma. We are dedicated to safeguarding your privacy and ensuring a secure user experience. This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, and protect your information when using our app.

Types of Data Collected:

Web History (automatically stored when enabled): Our app automatically records a history of the 50 most recent Drupal CMS pages visited (per environment), which are stored locally in the extension's storage on your device. This only occurs when the Web History feature is enabled by the user.
User Activity (automatically processed; not stored): Our app reads user activity within Drupal to enable features such as keyboard shortcuts. This data is processed in memory only and is not stored on your device.
Website Content (Text) (automatically processed; stored when prompted by user): Our app, when explicitly triggered by the user, collects text data from Drupal CMS pages, which is stored locally in the extension's storage on your device.
Website Content (Images) (saved when prompted by user): Our app, when explicitly triggered by the user, saves images from Drupal CMS pages to your device's $HOME/Downloads/Torma2ls folder.
Method of Collection:

Automatic: The app passively reads page content and context (such as the current URL and page structure) as you interact with Drupal, in order to power automation features such as environment detection. Most of this data is processed in memory only and is not stored. The exception is Web History, which is automatically stored in the extension's local storage when that feature is enabled by the user.
User-Prompted: Data is only stored when explicitly triggered by the user (e.g., via the Copy Up feature). No data is persisted without a deliberate user action.
3. Purpose of Data Collection

The information collected is used to:

Improve automation
Enhance quality-of-life features
Address UI/UX concerns for a better user experience.
4. Data Retention

Retention Period:
All data stored in extension storage is cleared from your device upon uninstallation or reinstallation of the app. Images stored in your device's $HOME/Downloads/Torma2ls folder must be deleted manually by the user.
5. Data Sharing and Disclosure

Third Parties:

We do not share any collected data with third parties. All data processing occurs locally on your device.
Legal Requirements:

We do not share data with anybody at any point in time. Since all data is stored locally on your device and is never transmitted to any server, there is nothing for us to disclose.

Access and Control:

Since our app does not collect personally identifiable information (PII), there is no need for access, correction, or deletion requests. Users can clear data by reinstalling or uninstalling the app, and by deleting the "Torma2ls" folder in their $HOME/Downloads directory.
Opt-Out:

If you do not wish to have data collected, you should refrain from using the app. The app does not involve marketing communications.

Usage:
Our app does not utilize cookies or other tracking technologies.

Transfers:
There are no data transfers to external locations; all data processing is performed locally on your device.
