Timen Time Tracker von Timen

Timen is free time tracking for teams. This extension puts the timer where the work already is: a one-click button on the task, issue, card and ticket pages of 148 web tools. Start tracking what is in front of you, without switching apps.

Track your hours, keep them organised by project and client, and turn clean entries into reports and invoices when you need them.

HOW IT WORKS

1. Sign in with your Timen account.
2. Open the extension's settings and switch on the tools you use. Firefox asks your permission for each one, individually.
3. A timer button appears next to your tasks. Click it — the description, project and tags are taken from the page.

Nothing runs on a website until you switch it on. On every site you have not enabled, the extension does nothing at all.

148 integrations, covering issue trackers, project boards, help desks, CRMs, document editors, calendars, email and chat. You can browse and search the full list in the extension's settings before enabling anything.

SELF-HOSTED INSTANCES

Running your own instance of a supported tool — a self-hosted GitLab, say? Add your domain under Custom domains and point it at the matching integration, and it works exactly like a built-in one.

PRIVACY

The extension communicates only with Timen's own servers — never a third party. It reads a page only to fill in what you are timing, only on sites you have enabled, and sends nothing until you actually start a timer. It does not collect your browsing history.
