I cntrl+SHIFT+m'ed but merely got page with size adjuster in upper left corner, and a small page image in upper left. When i chose my screen rez it enlarged that image. But still no 3D effect of any kind [not to mention failure to even duplicate regular 2D behavior].
I run Cyberfox 28 on Windows 7 so maybe that's the problem [but all my other extensions run perfectly]. Anyway, no 3D.

Amazing, but 3D export not 100% Bewertet mit 4 von 5 Sternen

This is a phenomenal tool, however using Firefox 26.0 on a Mac (running 10.8.5) when I export I only get the .obj and the .mtl files, the .png file is nowhere to be found. Is this a bug or am I missing something?

Victor Porof is an OVERGOD !Awesome plugin !!!
Excellent for developpers.
The plugin is able to display the DOM hierarchy at the i instant even if the DOM has been modified by javascript and dynamic CSS.

Thanks a lot.

Respect.

Very nice add-on, and much superior to its built-in equivalent in the debug /developer tools, but with a glaring problem:

export does not export a PNG.

This addon is awsome.
However it is found conflicting with firegesture, a must have addon for firefox personally.

I might just be stupid, but I can't figure out how to turn Tilt on!
The hotkey "Ctrl+Shift+M" is already taken, and I don't know how to get into Tilt to change it.

Try the menu

Try and go to Tools -> Web Developer -> Tilt from the menu.

very well written, Thanks.
i can't believe that the 'powers to be' keep dropping cool things from mozilla (firefox) like tab.preview and now 3d view in inspector.
Well thanks for not only building a replacement, but a seemingly better one

I don't see the option to export the 3d rendered data! Not sure if its an existing bug. Other than that its a kewl utility.

You can fix this

Take a look at: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/tilt/reviews/383660/

Shortcuts clash Bewertet mit 3 von 5 Sternen

"Tilt" shortcut key clash with the [Tools] \ [web developer] \ [adaptive design view mode] shortcuts

Change the key

You can change the shortcut key after starting Tilt by visiting the "Settings" menu in the top right.

Where is the Jog dial in Win7 Firefox Bewertet mit 5 von 5 Sternen

Wonderful add-on. However on my Win7 Firefox 15 i do not see the jog dial and other info displayed on left in this page. Am I missing something?

Old vs. New Tilt

Here's what you need to do (and I agree it's not pretty obvious)

There are two versions for Tilt. You'll need to use the add-on version (since it's different from the built-in one, which you're currently using). Here's a step-by-step explanation on how to get it:

First you'll need to make sure the Tilt extension is installed, because the native Tilt implementation doesn't have such a feature. I assume it is already, but if it's not, you can get it from here.

Secondly, make sure you'll be able to start the extension. Depending on what you've been doing until now, some prefs may have been switched on and off making that impossible. Go to about:config and set

devtools.tilt.enabled to true and
extensions.tilt.options.nativeTiltHello to true

Now open Tilt from the Tools -> Web Developer -> Tilt menu (not from the Inspector!).
You'll be prompted with an update message saying "Press OK to continue with the new version of Tilt. If you'd like to revert to the old version, press Cancel." Press cancel.

Now you're in the "old" Tilt, with all the features missing from the native implementation. Voila!

Well, it's very useful in terms of debugging as well as hacking... For a programmer it's essential but for an ordinary human it's cool

This is one of the most useful addons I've ever had. Anytime you can see something in a new perspective, you'll learn something new about it. That's exactly what this does. Plus, it's excellent at showing the parts of the web page and indicating what CSS lines effect it. There's a lot more that this can do, but I've just begun using it and have more to learn.

Very Well Made, and runs smoothly.

Gives you everything you need, and is quite enjoyable.

Interesting, but could you add support for the Razer Hydra, or at least standard joysticks; and make the page work in 3d instead of just look pretty?

This is probably one of the more awesome addons I've seen in a while. So awesome in fact that it prompted me to create a login to review.
As a hobbyist 3d artist and programmer, I enjoy working with new ways of visualizing things - considering my job in real life, I work heavily with databases which, of course ,I always wish I could manipulate in 3 dimensions so that I could better understand what it was I'm seeing. This tool is a cool example of how something as apparently "flat" as a webpage can become something awesome when projected in 3-dimensions, allowing you to see what really goes behind the text you read and the layers that exist to construct a web page. This kind of visualization actually can help programmers and designers alike to understand how well-formed code should be constructed and spot errors in sites that are yet to be displayed to the public. Hopefully more development tools get added to this in the future!

ps - the blender export is something I'm going to try pretty darn soon, and if it lives up to expectations, I'm going to love it. :)

Wow! Double-plus kudos! I was all ready to rag on it about it being a 3D display of a 2D structure but I stand (and sit) corrected. It's surprisingly imformative.

Plus, the accelerometer support in my MBP is wicked cool!
