- Bewertet mit 5 von 5 Sternenvon sofiehills222, vor 5 StundenI only downloaded Tab Stash a few hours ago. At first I had some trouble figuring out the icons and how to use it. After a few minutes of playing around, I figured it out. This extension is great! I like the simplicity/minimalistic design. When you know how to use it, it's really easy to use. I would say there is a learning curve, though, which I am definitely still on.
It did speed up my workflow, except for the fact that when I downloaded, I spent quite a few minutes just admiring the look of it all. (not a developer problem, I just loved the look of it :) )
Thank you so much for creating this extension. I also greatly appreciate this extension being free. There are no hidden pay-walls (that I've found) and there are no ads. This speed up my workflow tremendously.
Once again, thank you so much for this. Your effort is being greatly appreciated, and I can't wait to see how Tab Stash continues to evolve and improve. - Bewertet mit 5 von 5 Sternenvon Firefox-Benutzer 13453659, vor 6 Tagen

- Bewertet mit 5 von 5 Sternenvon ship, vor 13 TagenI was trying to find an extension that could help me either make my menu bar look nicer because I have so many links it was becoming a bit of an eyesore and I didn't like the look of so many folders across my menu bar. I stumbled across Tab Stash, and it wasn't really what I had in mind but I loved the idea of a vertical side bar that I can toggle open/close so I gave it a go :)!
Tab Stash was much easier to use than I expected (I usually take a long time to figure things out). I personally found it very intuitive! I like how the instructions are detailed yet concise.
I managed to clear out my menu bar and "stash" everything into Tab Stash. I'm still keeping my most used bookmarks along the menu bar, but I'm down from the whole menu bar being filled to just 1/6 of it. It looks so much better now.
I was a bit worried there's no option to hide the "Open all tabs and remove them from this group (hold Cmd to open in background)" button as I feared accidentally clicking that and deleting a whole tab even though I know the stash trash saves for 180 days. Happy that I decided to open a bunch of empty windows, save it as a stack, and test "accidentally" clicking the button; discovered that as soon as you click it, there's an option to "Undo" which restores them immediately. Anxiety lessened!! Grateful for the thoughtfulness of providing that feature.
Special shout out to the "compact" feature; providing customisable options on what happens when you click the extension button; dark/light/system modes.
Really really liking this and thinking about getting Firefox on my phone despite being too lazy to do so for ages, just so I can have this extension synced on my phone.
Thank you to the developer Josh Berry for making this and letting us use it for free. That's very very generous of you. It's decluttered my links/bookmarks, given me less visual strain when using Firefox, and it's extremely helpful.
Thanks so much! ship xAntwort des Entwicklers
geschrieben am vor 6 TagenHi ship, thank you very much for the thoughtful review! I'm really glad to hear Tab Stash has helped to reduce the visual clutter and keep things organized.
There is good news and bad news on mobile—the good news is, since Tab Stash saves everything as bookmarks, your saved tabs are at least accessible on mobile. The bad news is Tab Stash itself doesn't run on mobile, because I'm not an Android user, and so I haven't been able to properly test and develop it on Android. (And Firefox for iOS doesn't support extensions at all—that one's completely on Apple though, heh.)
I have been thinking about ways of making mobile easier for both Android and iOS users—for example, offering to import any mobile bookmarks you save. We'll see.
Regardless, thanks again for taking the time to write up your thoughts, I was really happy to read this!
Best wishes,

geschrieben am vor 20 TagenSorry to hear you found it cluttered; I'd love to hear what you think is unnecessary, as I've tried to keep most of the more advanced features out of the way. - Bewertet mit 5 von 5 Sternenvon Firefox-Benutzer 17375676, vor einem Monat

(turning off and on the extension also results in a hundred or so tabs of bookmarks being reopened but holding ctrl + w fixes that quick issue) (I think this may just be due to a limitation of the browser or some kind of bug)

geschrieben am vor 3 MonatenTab Stash uses Firefox's built-in tab-hiding feature to hide stashed tabs instead of closing them entirely. This allows the tab state to be preserved (vs. closing the tab, which loses all the state). If you accumulate too many hidden tabs, Tab Stash will unload them to make sure your browser doesn't slow down.
If you find this bothersome, you can change Tab Stash's settings so that tabs are entirely closed instead of hidden. There is also a "middle ground" option to unload hidden tabs immediately, so they remain open but don't use any resources.
