Super Drag turns drag-and-drop into fast mouse gestures. Grab a link, a piece of selected text or an image, flick it in a direction, release — done.

WHAT YOU CAN DO • Links: open in a new tab (foreground or background), current tab, new window or private window; copy the link or its text; search the link text; save the link as… • Text: open it as an address if it looks like one, or search it with any of your Firefox search engines; copy, translate, or save it as a .txt file. • Images: open in a new tab, copy the image or its address, search for similar images (Google Lens, Yandex, Bing, TinEye), save the image as…

GESTURES, YOUR WAY • Separate gesture sets for links, text and images. • Up to three strokes per gesture: 4 single, 12 double and 36 triple gestures for each type. • Choose a search engine per gesture — your Firefox default or any installed engine. • Adjustable recognition threshold, from short to long flicks. • Exceptions list to turn Super Drag off on specific sites (wildcards supported).

CHANGE YOUR MIND MID-DRAG • A small pill follows the cursor and shows the action that will run. • Changed direction? If that combination has no action, the action of your last strokes is used — nothing gets lost. • Bring the cursor back to where you started to cancel. Release there and nothing happens. • On release the pill confirms the result: green ✓ when the action is accepted, grey ✕ when cancelled, red when something failed.

STAYS OUT OF YOUR WAY • Short drags and gestures with no action behave exactly like normal Firefox drag-and-drop. • Drops into text fields, editors and upload zones are left alone. • Works in private windows (after you allow it in about:addons).

PRIVACY Super Drag collects no data, has no analytics and makes no network requests of its own. Settings are stored locally in your browser. Links, text and images go only where you send them with a gesture.
