i find it good add on but the problem i had was the whitelist in this add on is not working properly.
Cette extension permet de supprimer les cookies immédiatement, merci !
The addon worked great at first but there was some update or incompatibility that caused it to break my Firefox and any cookie tracking when it was not enabled. This also affected other aspects of Firefox.
I would keep it installed but it causes issues with some sites where they will not load unless the addon is set to "after you close the browser" which makes no sense. No cookies have been destroyed when I first load a site, so changing that setting should have no effect, but it does.
Please update it to support MULTIPROCESS
because this addons is ESSENTIAL
I've been using SDC for long and never disappointed
Only downside is that it won't be any more when Mozilla releases FFX 57
For the guy bellow talking about annoying notifications , those can be disabled via about:addons -> SDC options
The product appears to work well, for that I am appreciative. BUT, it is continuously throwing out pop-ups telling you it's working! These are annoying and often get in the way of what I am doing/working on. Just a simple drop down from the menu bar button would be fine.
Live by this add-on. Any plans to update it for compatibility with multiprocess?
I love your ad-don, but I'm missing an option to change the notification settings. Would you mind adding an option to prevent the notification pop-up when a cookie gets deleted? (if there isn't already one, haven't found it yet).
An excellent add-on! Cannot live without it. But please, help me, the add-on often forgets the preferences for the website I often visit (and want to keep the cookies). When I come back to the site, the cookie icon is red again... I can't find the reason.
Great but needs Multiprocess support.
Here is an alternative with multiprocess supprt: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/cookie-autodelete/
I've used this add-on for a long time and been quite happy with it, so first and foremost, thank you!
Since its end-of-life approaches, I'm transitioning away, possibly to Cookie AutoDelete. However, I can't seem to be able to find the S-D Cookies configuration (not in user.js, ...), hence I can't export it.
Can you point me in the right direction?
Or is exporting the whitelist a feature you'd be willing to consider?
ADD Multi-Process support, please, this addon is brilliant
Please add Multi-Process support (Electrolysis)
PerfPerfect shield against tracking web track
I don't want to see 100s of notifications every time I close a tab. And there is notification for suppressing notification?
Addon can't delete google cookies any more!
Essential for preventing tracking.
It lacks any sort of granular control over its actions.
There's no way to set the default operation for cookie deleting, it will set itself to red (Delete when the tab is closed) by default and doesn't have the option to change it anywhere, this is frustrating to me as I think it'd make more sense for me if I could set it to destroy the cookies when I close the browser. The way it is it forces me to set it manually for each website.
Another option it's lacking is the option to only destroy 3rd party cookies. As it is it'll destroy everything unless you whitelist the website that created the cookies.
This is a good product, but it really needs a sync mechanism between computers. I use Firefox on 3 computers on a regular basis, and need the same settings/whitelist on all computers.
As another user mentioned, this needs to be made multi-process aware as well.
This add-on does what it is supposed to do: delete cookies after you've closed a tab. This vital for dealing with wide-ranging web empires, such as Google's: As soon as you close the e.g. Gmail tab, you can continue browsing without being logged in any more. (Of course, in the case of Google, take that with a grain of salt: it is not quite clear what Google's servers will actually know or deduce about you.) But the add-on certainly makes sense on sites that are even just a bit less sophisticated than Google's.
Why am I rating this with just three stars then? Well, that is a transparent attempt to nudge the add-on author toward making this add-on multi-process compatible. Because right now, this is the last add-on that is holding me back. And I don't want to miss this one.
