geschrieben am vor 6 JahrenFeel free to email me at blackfireweb@gmail.com and I'll try to help you sort it out - Bewertet mit 5 von 5 Sternenvon Firefox-Benutzer 14194488, vor 6 JahrenThank you so much for developing this! It's absolutely brilliant and just like rikaisama :)
I have one request though - on yomichan (a similar chrome extension), there is a feature where by dictionary entries only appear for a word if the shift key is pressed whilst you hover over the word. Would it be possible to add this feature to rikairebuilt also (it could be included in the keyboard section of the options)? I have been having the problem of lots of unwanted definitions showing up when I move the cursor over other words on the way to the word I want to know the definition of.
Thanks again! - Bewertet mit 4 von 5 Sternenvon Firefox-Benutzer 14036631, vor 6 JahrenIt's cool so see this add-on being ported to newer versions of Firefox! I'm sure it's still being actively worked on so I'll just report issues I face as I come across them. Currently I have to re-enable the addon every time I go to a new page. Sometimes even then it won't work, I click the icon to enable it and all I get is a little blue rectangle bar at the top left of my screen, but no popup over words. Refreshing doesn't seem to fix it. I have to closer the browser and re-open it.
Also when importing to Anki I don't get the word frequency like I did with Rikaisama. I also can't see the word frequency anywhere in the popup. I assume this just hasn't been implemented yet.
I also can't find anywhere to import with a specific tag, which was something I depended on when using Rikaisama.
I'm curious if it will be possible to get the EPWING functionality working like Rikaisama had, though I seem to remember CB saying that wouldn't work with the way addons are restricted in newer Firefox versions.Antwort des Entwicklers
geschrieben am vor 6 JahrenHi. Thanks for trying this out. You're right that at the moment it's still in development, this is just the first version that I've felt has been good enough to share. If you'd like to report issues directly, feel free to email me at "blackfireweb@gmail.com".
You're right that at the moment there's no Frequency, EPWING, custom tags as well as a few other features (Like Sanseido mode). I'm still currently updating, but I'm trying to prioritize based on what people find really crucial to their day to day, so I'll try to get tags up and running soon.
I am a bit curious about EPWING myself. I haven't really used EPWING before, and I don't know how it works. I can't really say how it's going to work in the new API, or if it can, but if I can get it to work I'll likely write up a small section on what I had to do to make it work.
Please do email me though, I'd like to talk through the bug you were getting about work definitions not coming through.
Thanks,
Gareth
