Quick WhatsApp Contact lets you start WhatsApp chats from phone numbers you type, select, or find on web pages — without saving the contact or copying and pasting the number.

🚀 HOW TO USE

1. Select a number on a web page, click a telephone link, or open the extension popup.
2. Choose a country if the number does not already contain an international dialing code.
3. Review the formatted number and enter an optional message.
4. Click the WhatsApp action to open the conversation in a new tab.

Features that interact with page content are optional and remain disabled by default. When enabled, they can display a floating shortcut for selected numbers and action buttons next to telephone links.

🔒 PRIVACY AND DATA CONTROL

• No backend server.
• No analytics or telemetry.
• No advertising or user profiling.
• No browsing-history tracking.
• Access to page content is optional and disabled by default.
• Phone numbers, messages, and page content are processed locally.
• Only the phone number and message are sent to WhatsApp, following an explicit user action.
• Preferences such as language, theme, and country may be synchronized through browser storage.
• Numbers received from a selection are stored only temporarily during the interaction.
• “Delete all stored data” clears preferences and temporary data and revokes optional website access.
• The extension does not receive or store financial information.

🛡 PERMISSIONS

The extension uses context menus, storage, and scripting to provide its features. Optional access to HTTP and HTTPS pages is requested only when the user enables page helpers in Settings.

All executable code is included in the extension package. No remote code is loaded.

💚 SUPPORT THE PROJECT

The “Buy me a coffee” button presents optional contribution methods through PIX, MB WAY/Revolut, and PayPal. You can scan a QR code, copy the payment details, or open the provider when available.

The extension does not sell features, process payments, or store the user’s financial information.
