Fixed
- www / apex preference check: it no longer reports "www ends at www, not apex" for sites that redirect correctly. The check now follows the redirect and compares the final host, so a www → apex redirect (or the reverse) correctly passes.
- Stuck "Scanning…": the popup now recovers if the browser stops the background scanner mid-scan, retrying once instead of waiting forever.
- Not-a-website message: the "Open a website first" message is now shared in one place instead of copied in four places.

Improved
- Hidden headings: the SEO heading outline now explains "(hidden)". A note appears whenever a page has headings that CSS hides, with a matching tooltip.

Privacy
- Domain lookups: DNS and registration (RDAP) lookups now run only when you open the popup, never from background scans as pages load. Browsing no longer sends domains to Cloudflare, Google DNS or rdap.org on its own.
- Privacy policy: it now discloses that the Stack tab loads technology logos from cdn.jsdelivr.net and ogp.me.
- Contact: the contact email is now support@patchpings.com.
