Reddit normally leaves a collapsed placeholder behind when a blocked user comments. That placeholder is annoying and draws attention to the blocked comment. Neuralyzer removes the complete comment tree so you can browse Reddit without seeing any trace of it—truly blocking those users.

Neuralyzer supports both Old Reddit and Reddit’s current interface on reddit.com, www.reddit.com, and old.reddit.com. It also watches for comments loaded dynamically as you expand discussions or continue scrolling.

Use the Neuralyzer toolbar button to turn filtering on or off at any time. When filtering is disabled, removed comments and replies are restored in their original positions without reloading the page. Your preference is saved across browser sessions.


Neuralyzer works entirely inside your browser. It does not make network requests, transmit browsing activity, collect analytics, or access your Reddit block list directly. It only examines Reddit’s rendered comment markup to identify comments that Reddit has already marked as belonging to a blocked user. The only information stored is whether filtering is currently enabled or disabled.
