Still no focus on url field. :(
How's that address bar focus coming along. It's been almost 6 years since you said you would fix it. Just checking.

Very nice, I give it 4/5 only because I'm used to start typing immediately when I open a new tab. With My Homepage I have to manually click in the Address Bar and then type. Perhaps add a checkbox option to choose if you want to switch to Address bar automatically or not?

I take this up as a very good suggestion

Thank you for the review.
I take this up as a very good suggestion. Infact when a user opens up a new tab and does not want a home page, the shortcut key ctrl+alt+m works. But the focus is not in the address bar. But i will fix this soon and will update you. Thanks, Manish
Works to the point! that's what i needed!
Worth contributing development!
Funciona perfectamente y cumple muy bien su función, lo vengo usando durante mucho tiempo y nunca me ha fallado.
Superb! very simple and cut to cut! Really loads the homepage quickly as it says and no interaction needed once installed!
Does exactly as intended
You don't waste time for goint to your homepage !
When new update ?
Simplesmente o melhor. The best. Usei vários mas nenhum se compara à simplicidade e eficiência desse complemento.congratulations to creator.
One of the best add-ons! There are some add-ons that should be made default with Firefox, this one tops the list!
thats work! thanks mate
Couldn't live without it!!
It's so good I take it for granted. Should be built in to the Firefox browser.
Easily the best new tab homepage add-on out there. Key feature: it puts the cursor in the on the web page vs. address bar (very useful if your homepage is a certain search engine). Great that it doesn't suffer compatibility issues with constant Firefox updates, unlike older new tab homepage add-ons.
@ComicOzzy: There's a main difference between adjust about:config and this add-on, the cursor placement.
I love the (My Homepage) add-on. I’m always searching so I use Google homepage a lot , suggestion box included. I set it to open in new tabs. I don't need anything more than that. I have my bookmarks tool bar checked so I can add the sites I usually go on, to it. Go to View/Toolbars/bookmarks Toolbar. When I bookmark a site, I delete the name and save it to bookmarks toolbar. So only the little site icon is left and room for over 50 of my favorite sites sitting right under my address bar, ready to be clicked!
there is an easier way to do this that require no addons it requires you go to about:config find "browser.newtab.url" right click on it and modify to your desired new tab page!
Great extension, Manish! :) My homepage - undoubtedly like many others - is simply set to Google. Nearly every time I open a tab, I have to immediately click the "home" button to open up Google. This bypasses that intermediate step for me. And it works perfectly on my Win 7 64-bit system. Thanks!
Extension géniale dont je ne peux plus me passer.
Please update car ne fonctionne pas avec thunderbird 13.1
I have FF12 and W7 64 bit and My Homepage didn't work. After removing addon Tab Mix Plus it works excellent.
A program that does EXACTLY WHAT IT SAYS!!
It does nothing else and that's what makes it perfect!
If every other program was like this........!
This is one of the simplest add-ons I have ever used. When I checked other users' reviews, I saw that there are not too many. So I thought "Why not I write one?".
Firstly, I can say that there are no defects associated with this add-on. It simply fulfills its functions, that is, just redirect to our specified homepage while opening Firefox and while opening a new tab in Firefox.
Its a simple, plain and still one of the best add-on, considering the limit of the function it serve.
And there is a suggestion too. It would be better if Firefox was preinstalled with this function, as there is not much work to be done by this add-on. Its function can be handled by Firefox by default itself.
Does not work on my system. Win 7 64 bit. Firefox 12. Is there a known problem with any other addons?
Please remove it and install again from here:
It works well on FF 12 on Win 7 64 bit os too.
Let me know if any issues.
Works as advertised. I agree with previous commentor, it should be a default feature!
po prostu polecam, trzeba sprobowac, zeby wiedziec czy sie cos lubi :)
I have to say this:
Why don't they just install this add-on by default to Firefox?
I HATE this whole system, I have tried several times to change my homepage, somehow since yesterday my homepage has changed from my choice to something called www.searchnu.com/430. I have tried numerous times to change it back to my homepage choice, but when I close it and reopen the searchnu.com is still there and it will not go away. I guess I am going to just have to uninstall the whole Mozilla Firefox (I had to rate this for it to post, but instead of being 1 star, I would rate it -10 stars)
Please note that 'My Homepage' is a small useful addon that just loads you homepage every time you open a new tab.
It has nothing to do with 'searchnu.com'. thats a kind of Malware and a lot of other people have also faced the same problem.
Check it out here:
My addon is limited to do what i have stated.
It doesnt does anything else.
You need to uninstall 'searchnu.com' search engine and addon which have been installed in your firefox from somewhere else.
Let me know if you need any other help.
