macOS External PiP Bridge sends the video from the current Firefox tab to a companion macOS helper app that displays it in a small always-on-top Picture-in-Picture style window. Click the toolbar button on a page with an HTML5 video. The extension finds the best video element, then sends either a direct playable media URL or a fallback encoded media stream to the local helper. The companion helper app must be installed and running separately. No remote server, analytics, ads, or tracking are used.
