Two thumbs down Bewertet mit 1 von 5 Sternen
#1 thumb: cryptic interface [badly needs a simple "load epub" button]. Clicking on it merely brings up a page of options [ "catalog" etc]. None helpful.
#2 thumb: lousy unsearchable help.
I didn't even get close to finding how to make it open an epub. In this it's like its competition, the other firefox extension.
August 4, 2014 UPDATE. This time it worked a lot better [due to newer version of firefox?]. But it's still frustrating. After much struggle i managed to tweak the color prefs to my taste but never managed to either change the font, or, even worse, the fonts size.
So from 1 star to 3 stars.
Opening an EPUB file in Firefox is no different than opening any other file in Firefox. There is no need for any special user interface controls for this, since Firefox already provides several ways to do this.
Here are a few ways you can do it:
* Click on "New Tab"->"Open File..." on the compact menu.
* Click on "File"->"Open File..." on the full menu.
* Press Ctrl+O on the keyboard.
* Drag-and-drop the EPUB file on a Firefox window.
* Type in the URI for the EPUB file in the address bar.
This is described at the beginning of the first chapter of the user manual.
