Forecast planning (August 4, 2012):
Mozilla has decided to make my life difficult as a "developer" theme with its policy of compatibility. The last email from Mozilla I received is incomprehensible in view of the situation of the latest version of the theme.
The support by myself on this AMO site is interrupted. I relies completely on Mozilla to that. If he wants to sabotage here, so be it!
I would see to set up another system update for next year (no time and no motivation for the moment). In the meantime, I recommend the Opera browser.
Mozilla has corrected his copy (ESR channel and automatic process for addons), and future re-development of Iron:
Mozilla ESR output channel (http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/organizations/all.html , all languages) to replace Firefox 3.6 in the stabilization process lasting between 6 and 12 months by version. For 2012, it was version 10 which is maintained in the ESR channel.
Whatever the channel for Firefox, the compatible addons with the latest stable version of Firefox of moment automatically be tested by Mozilla to the latest beta version of Firefox of moment (at the late, ie shortly before the transition from beta to stable). It is this automatic process that has enabled the version 0.1.1 Iron to keep up to version 12 and version 13 soon to see even more if I slow to release the next version of the theme (except breakage compatibility for technical cause).
For my part, even if I stay on another browser for navigating everyday, I recently replaced my old Firefox 3.6.x by Firefox 10.0.x ESR. So, I plan to resume service to improve this theme from mid-2012. And if I have time still further, it may even found my theme, and Walnut, on Opera. Porting to PortableApps.com Platform is now postponed indefinitely (technical problems).
Note in case of bugs:
Check if the bug exists in the latest version of the Walnut theme (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/walnut-for-firefox/ ).
If this is not the case, contact me so that I can update as soon as possible (or that I correct myself). I understand mainly French and English. I can understand Spanish (official or Catalan).
If this is the case, contact, in English or in Netherlands, the author of the Walnut theme.
