Like so many other users within the last few days I have removed Ghostery for wanting to "access all data". I don't believe that it should be allowed to do that at all and seems extremely intrusive. Thank you for the time i've been with you but I shall now be using a different app that doesn't feel the need to see all of my passwords.

Hi, there, in order for Ghostery to block trackers and ads, it needs to be able to detect and take action on elements of a web page as you browse. We do not record sensitive information, record browsing history, or disclose user data. Note that despite the prompt being new, Ghostery is not introducing any new permissions with the update. You can read about this in greater detail on our FAQ page, here: https://www.ghostery.com/faqs/why-am-i-being-prompted-to-approve-an-update-from-ghostery/

Ghostery is the best anti-tracking add-on available and should be used even if you also use a dedicated Adblocker (you can either disable the ad-blocking part of Ghostery, or still keep it on for more comprehensive coverage).
The UI is second-to-none, but when first installing it would help if there is a clearer indication that Ghostery has a Settings menu. There are actually useful options in there to take greater control over what type or specific trackers are and are not allowed, but this can be overlooked if you just do a quick set-up and only press the Extension icon when you need to whitelist a site.
When hovering over the Trust Site, Pause Ghostery and especially Restrict Site, adding a highlight colour or a text glow effect would improve the contrast and accessibility for some users/lighting conditions. Many thanks for your detailed review and the feedback to our UI and functionality discoverability! 💙💙
We will definitely consider it in our next iterations and already passed it on to our design & product development team!

A 'must have' tool with an ensemble of blockers, never fails. Also, never works with the latest FireFox update. I need to enable Ghostery every page, every restart.

My father recommended me this to get rid of trackers, wasn't sure about how useful it was to install that kind of extension. Right now I don't feel comfy going on Firefox without my ghostery active.
Couldn't recommend this extension more ! A big thanks for the team :)
