Über diese Erweiterung
GalaxyPass is a password manager built for people and teams already
using GalaxyOrb — with no master password to create, remember, or leak.
How it's different
Most password managers protect your vault with a master password.
GalaxyPass has none. Your GalaxyOrb sign-in establishes who you are; a
passkey tied to your device protects your vault's encryption key
instead.
A security key is required
Since there's no master password, GalaxyPass needs a passkey to unlock
your vault. Your device's built-in authenticator works fine — Face ID,
Windows Hello, Android unlock — but we recommend also registering an
external hardware security key (e.g. a YubiKey). It isn't tied to one
device, so it still gets you in if you lose your phone or laptop.
Zero-knowledge, genuinely
Your vault is encrypted and decrypted only on your device. The server —
and anyone who ever gains access to it — only ever stores and moves
ciphertext. It never sees your passwords, keys, or the key that protects
them.
