Focira helps you stay in the flow by reducing tab noise to zero. Turn on focus and it locks your attention to a single tab or follows the active tab depending on your preference. Other tabs can be muted and optionally discarded to free resources, while pinned tabs can be left alone. A keyboard shortcut toggles focus instantly, and you can fine-tune defaults in Options. Focira never touches page content or injects scripts, so it remains fast and private.

Under the hood, Focira keeps permissions minimal. It uses tabs to list, mute, discard, and activate tabs in the current window, and storage to remember your preferences and current focus state. There are no inline scripts, no unsafe innerHTML, no remote resources, and no analytics. All code is bundled and self-hosted in compliance with AMO policies. The lock mode returns you to the focused tab if you click elsewhere; follow mode updates the focus to the new active tab.
