This extension is currently broken. Attempting to use DuckDuckGo with it will simply fail to load the website.

I really like DDG, but DuckDuckGo Privacy Essentials give me nothing but trouble. It says my browser “has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete.”
On top of it, I find it difficult to only have DuckDuckGo as default search Engine without DDG Privacy Essentials.—Help!

I am a huge fan of DDG and use the search engine as my default. Unfortunately, this plugin appears to be incompatible with duckduckgo.com--it causes a redirect loop and the page fails to load. You should already have most of the features it provides through other recommended Firefox extensions, so I think disabling it is the way to go for now. I also think I was missing a lot of the annoying features because ublock blocked them--lol!

1 star because without warning they changed my browser search engine and I was very frustrated while fixing it. They might have written it somewhere in fine print, but that's even worse.
