Über diese Erweiterung
Review pull requests in one continuous, full-screen diff with a searchable file tree, inline comments, and fast rendering, even on PRs where GitHub's Files changed tab starts to struggle.
Usage
On any pull request, click View Diff for a full-screen overlay. Open the same review in a separate tab, or right-click a PR link and choose Open in diffy. Read, navigate, and comment without jumping file by file.
Why?
GitHub's Files changed works well for small PRs but struggles on large ones: diff limits, per-file "Load diff" clicks, sluggish UI, and comments split across tabs. diffy fetches changes through the GitHub API and renders them in a lightweight viewer built for big reviews.
What you get?
• Full-screen, continuous diffs: scroll every changed file in one view; collapse or expand files; viewed files auto-collapse
• Searchable file tree: jump to any file instantly; comment badges on files with threads
• Inline comments and batch reviews: comment on lines, queue threads, publish from the review dock
• Viewed-file tracking: mark files read and jump to the next unviewed file
• Split or unified layout, display settings, 100+ languages, 50+ themes, custom fonts
• PR sidebar: stats, branches, author, state, labels, and reviewers at a glance
• Opens fast: prefetches PR data as the page loads
Many more: image diffs, open in new tab, and more.
GitHub Token
Public repos work out of the box. Add an optional personal access token in the popup for private repos, higher API limits, viewed-file tracking, and publishing reviews. Fine-grained tokens work for diffs and comments; viewed files and batch reviews need a classic PAT (repo) or gh auth token.
