dommage qu'il ne fonctionne plus
The best add on as I know, I like it this add on, because only this screen capture can make range area selection over the screen wide, usually the maximum selection just only the full screen area, but this add on is very excellent once
But unfortunately i can not use it now in accordance to new firefox, it is really shit
Please update this Add-On, was one of the only reasons I liked this browser.
excellent, please uptdate !!!!!
Its just the best and easiest to use in its catagory. But now, with the new Fierfox Quantum v 57, it doesn't work any more so is badly in need of an update. I hope it is updated soon as a lot of people seem to enjoy using it.
Update please, it is the best add-on for capture and printing web page selection. Thank you
Bitte, bitte auf neues Firefox updaten.
Update pls for new Firefox
Please Update to Firefox 57+.
I discovered that the add-on FireShot is capable of freehand / rectangle selecting websitecontent (as is) in combination with scrolling down with moderate speed in order to partial select large webpages. Preselection of the processing is possible, so you can predecide to print, save, save as .pdf , copy to clipboard.
MMB and RMB capture are perfect.
But there is a problem in LMB area capture.
Usually I just want captured part to be saved as a image file or clipboard(like MMB and RMB), not to be printed.
So I think some options need in extension option page(in about:addons), such as 'save as'(1. image file, 2. clipboard, 3. print, 4. ask me).
no any useful, just hold your browser
This add-on is nice, but it hasn't been updated in a while, doesn't work with Firefox Developer Edition 54.0a2, and the developer doesn't have any way to contact them. When you click the toolbar icon, the whole screen gets selected in yellow, and you have to reload the page or close the tab to fix it. It doesn't let you select an area of the screen to print, but it seems to work fine with Firefox 52.0.2. It would be nice if that could be fixed because it's a good app. Thanks.
Just tried to use this on Windows 10 Pro with FireFox 51.0.1 (32-bit) and I'm getting the following error when I try to capture a page, "Argument 1 of CanvasRenderingContext2D.drawWindow does not implement interface Window." Please help to fix it!
Thank you so much for building such a neat add-on!
Update - Now working perfectly - back up to 5 Star rating
Love this add-on, but not working.... Rated 2 out of 5 stars

I have used this add-on for quite a while....it stopped working for me in January 2017. I have the latest version of Firefox and do not run many add-ons and have not made any changes to my system. I can click on the tool icon in my toolbar and it changes my screen to yellow....then I cannot select anything. It freezes on that screen and will not let me do the action needed...nor does it let me do anything else on that screen. I have to completely close that tab to escape it. Then when I try to click on the icon again....nothing.....Loved this tool - until it doesn't work!!!! Please research and fix. Bug somewhere. Currently I am on Firefox 52.0 (32-bit) and WIN 10 Home (with all the latest fixes) Used to be fine until I update Firefox in January.
After installing this add-on I performed the capture feature on a webpage I was wanting to print. It was probably about 4 pages total. Basically it put firefox into this neverending hang, I couldn't get it to close any tabs, It came up with the stop script option a few times, but stopping the script didn't do anything. I killed it with the task manager, but when it came back up, it resumed that same state. I was able to eventually get to the add-ons and remove the Capture & print add-on, but it still remained. After about the 3rd time killing the browser I created a safe-mode shortcut and started it with all add-ons disabled, was able to close the offending tab (looked like it was using a giant png file to print the page), and restarted it again with the add-ons re-enabled.
This may work for some people, but it wreaked havoc on my setup. Memory usage didn't go past 1.5Gb that I noticed, but a few of the processor cores were topped out for a while.
OS Linux Mint 18.1 FFox 50.1.0
I'm sorry by your sad experience, however this add-on is usually used to print small website areas, for anything beyond one page you could possibly use the Firefox's built-in print capabilities.
When i click your addon whole page goes yellow and i can't set printing area, also addon gets stuck on this page and i have to restart browser to try using it again.
I translated few words from my native language so errors might look diffferently to what you might expect

Thank you for taking the time to submit the console contents pointing the problem. This is an Electrolysis/e10s-mode issue, so as a quick workaround you can temporarily disable it.
We will look into the issue to come with a fix as soon we have a chance.

Sorry...but have to move on to another screen capture add-on that does work. Disappointed you have gotten others reporting this, but you have not tried to resolve with effective responses.
It still does work fine here, fwiw. (Win 8.1 + Firefox 51.0.1 32bits)
Did you saw or can check if there is some relevant error in the browser console? (you can open it using ctrl+shift+J) that will be of great help in troubleshooting the issue.
Getting same message on MMB click:
Argument 1 of CanvasRenderingContext2D.drawWindow does not implement interface Window.
Uninstalled all add-on/extensions, reinstalled C&P. and get above message from a C&P MessageBox.
Ubuntu 12.04 with current updates
Firefox 51.0.1 (64-bit)
Stopped working recently.
Thats what I need all year of printscreeening!
C&P has always been my favorite add-on. Today it stopped working with the latest Firefox. Get yellow screen but nothing appears to select print area.....
No, I do not have Electrolysis/e10s enabled. Clueless to what that is...
I disabled all my Firefox add-ons both extensions and plug-ins and tested Capture & Print and there was no change; yellow screen and no way to select area to print. Still not working.
Read my reply to the previous review.
Hm, do you have Electrolysis/e10s enabled?
C&P has always been my favorite add-on. Today it stopped working with the latest Firefox. Either the yellow screen won't come up, or it comes up full-page and nothng appears to let you size it. Bring back a C&P/Firefox compatibility! Don't ake me move elsewhere...
It works fine here using latest Firefox stable 51.0.1
Please check if there are other of your installed add-ons which might be conflicting with it.
