ButterSwitch plays short audio cues when browser events happen — opening a tab, closing a window, completing a download, adding a bookmark, and more.

Key features:
- 64 browser events across 3 tiers (essential, useful, advanced)
- Per-event controls: enable/disable, volume, pitch, and sound preview
- Customizable sound themes with fallback chains
- Global mute shortcut (Alt+M) with system notification and badge
- Keyboard shortcuts for all settings tabs (Alt+1 through Alt+4)
- Event debounce and global cooldown to prevent sound spam
- Custom event handlers for advanced automation (webhooks, conditional sounds)
- Local log storage with JSON, CSV, and HTML export
- Optional WebSocket log streaming to an accessible web viewer

Accessibility:

Built with WCAG AAA as the target. Every control is keyboard-operable and screen reader-friendly. Tested with NVDA on Windows. Uses Radix UI primitives with proper ARIA roles, live region announcements, and focus management.
