Better Chess helps you focus on the position instead of ratings, identities, and chat. It adds optional quality-of-life features to Chess.com and Lichess without playing moves or providing assistance during games.

Features:

• Hide both players' ratings and rating changes.
• Anonymize your opponent's name, avatar, flair, and chat messages.
• Collapse the in-game chat panel.
• Number right-click arrows in the order you draw them.
• Open finished Chess.com games on Lichess for free analysis.
• Keep separate preferences for Chess.com and Lichess.

Every feature can be enabled or disabled from the extension popup.

Better Chess contains no advertising or analytics and has no developer-operated backend. The Review on Lichess feature transfers the finished game's PGN to Lichess only when you activate it.
