Asyde — Privacy Policy

Asyde reads the current page or email only when you send a message in the panel. Here is exactly what happens to your data.

What we process
• Page/email content: when you send a message, the content of the current page (or the open email thread) and any image you attach are sent to Asyde's hosted service to generate a response. Asyde does not read pages in the background and does not activate on sign-in or password pages.
• Email address: collected only if you choose "Restore purchases", and used once to email you a single-use link that connects this browser to your prepaid message balance.

How it's used and stored
• Page content and conversations are used only to produce the response you asked for. They are not retained on our servers after the request, and are never sold or used for advertising.
• Responses are generated via a large-language-model provider; your content is sent to that provider only for the duration of your request.
• On your device (extension local storage), Asyde keeps an anonymous install id (to meter the free daily allowance and hold your credit balance), your saved profile/facts used to fill forms, panel preferences, and per-page chat history. No API keys or secrets are stored in the extension.

Payments
Optional prepaid message credits are bought through an external Merchant-of-Record (Creem) in a new tab. No payment card data is handled by the extension.

Data sharing
We do not sell your data. Content is shared only with the language-model provider needed to fulfil your request; payments are handled by our Merchant-of-Record.
