von Firefox-Benutzer 13552791, vor einem MonatAdblock Plus no longer blocks ads on Youbube. Other browsers and ad blockers do however.

geschrieben am vor einem MonatWe're aware that YouTube has been intermittently testing strategies to show either ads or their anti-adblocking wall. However, in some cases we've found that your settings might have changed which is why ads are suddenly appearing. Please try the steps in this article: https://help.adblockplus.org/hc/en-us/articles/26653087560595-Ads-appearing-on-YouTube. If those steps don't help, please submit a support request and we'll be happy to assist you: https://help.adblockplus.org/hc/en-us/requests/new.

And ditch the "premium" panhandling while you're at it!
Other completely free adblockers are about trying to provide a fully functioning, genuine adblocking solution rather than trying to profit on people looking to get rid of advertising nuisances, and these OTHER ACTUAL ADBLOCKERS HAVE NO PROBLEMS WHATSOEVER BLOCKING YOUTUBE ADS, so you Adblock Plus people are simply full of shit and clearly incompetent.
NO ONE ELSE IS HAVING PROBLEMS BLOCKING YOUTUBE but you, and everyone else is also far quicker to successfully counter YouTube's various crap and ever-changing bullshit terms of use, while you go on spouting nonsense about "using new strategies".
Blah, blah, blah! You're all talk and no action!
Furthermore, calling yourself an adblocker while allowing so called "acceptable ads" is an oxymoron. There is no such thing as "acceptable" ads! Nobody ever asked for ads, and ads of any kind are simply annoying - that's why people don't like them! Duh!
You are an "ad filter" at best, not an adblocker, because according to your own webpage it says that ADBLOCK PLUS IS PARTLY FINANCED BY THE ACCEPTABLE ADS INITIATIVE (See the "about" section: "How is Adblock Plus financed?"), and I don't care what the excuses are for that kind of financing. The fact remains that ADBLOCK PLUS IS COOPERATING WITH A PRO-ADVERTISING EFFORT! Adblock Plus is NOT an adblocker! Calling it an adblocker while receiving financing from any kind of pro-advertising interest is misrepresentation!
You're playing both sides and you know it.
In this day and age, people are more than capable of finding what they need, if and when they need it, using a search engine. They don't need to be "enlightened" about the supposed benefits of various bullshit products and services offered by various asshole companies that couldn't care less about quality and customer satisfaction, so f**k your sneaky spineless duality. You're not at all a part of any kind of genuine adblock solution - you're a double agent and a part of the problem.
Adblock Plus? More like BULLSHIT PLUS!
F**k you. - Bewertet mit 5 von 5 Sternenvon Gamer17631, vor einem Tag

- Bewertet mit 2 von 5 Sternenvon Firefox-Benutzer 18982813, vor 10 TagenI've used this add-on for years but the random tabs opening to ask me to pay for premium kills it for me. I'm totally OK with the ask every now and then, but every update to have a new tab open without choice when i have so many tabs open only to lose where i was is so infuriating. I just cant take it. I wish there was an actual reply about it and not a copy and paste reply saying thanks for the feedback. I'd love to know reasons why they think users who are trying to block ads would be ok with a whole tab opening without the user having control over it. Thanks for the years but it's time to fine a new add-on.

geschrieben am vor 5 TagenFor non-Premium users, our payment page displays when we update the extension to keep you informed on changes we've made and as a reminder to consider upgrading to Premium. There is no obligation to upgrade and you can dismiss the page by clicking the "x" on the browser tab. The payment page should only appear once every two weeks. If you are seeing the page more frequent than that, please submit a support request and we'll be happy to assist you: https://help.adblockplus.org/hc/en-us/requests/new. - Bewertet mit 5 von 5 Sternenvon Destinations716, vor 10 Tagen

- Bewertet mit 1 von 5 Sternenvon Oleksiy, vor 13 TagenTerrible! This extension automatically disables itself for some sites, overriding my manual settings without permission. As a result, all ads are shown, not just the so-called "acceptable" ones. This is a serious breach of trust and user control.
I deeply regret having ever donated to the authors. An extension that pretends to fight ads while enabling them in the background is not reliable and should not be trusted.Antwort des Entwicklers
geschrieben am vor 12 TagenWe are using a new strategy to handle YouTube's anti-ad blocking warning. When we detect YouTube's notification, we will automatically pause Adblock Plus so you can continue watching without disruption. The pause is temporary so if you leave YouTube and return later, it will remain unpaused until the warning is detected again. We believe YouTube will only attempt to show you the wall for a day or two and then we can go back to blocking ads as normal. - Bewertet mit 5 von 5 Sternenvon hamadou, vor 15 Tagen
