This is a great add on, it helps me not to go to youtube. Still I wish that when I search though the magnified glass not all the songs were added, only the one I want to add (like a plus sign, much like in grooveshark). A replay botton wouldn't hurt either. Its really great, could use some upgrades, but its solid.
Integrates medical ads and doesn't work with actual ff version. bullshit!
Very genuine and helpful. Cheers!
Incredible ! music player, mp3 download, search, playlist and more...in one extension and no restart :) .
Excellent add on for firefox...Its exactly the plugin that i was searching for...
Keep good work up
Does his job well. But we need to relog to our google account each time we wish use Firetube to get and set our playlist.
Moreover, the songs are not automatically played. When one of them is finished the next song wont start.
Its a handy add on
hello .. there is a problem ,, why i can't make the song be replied (Automatic replay songs) ??!!
really strange thing .. it's nice addon .. it's very useful .. thank you so much
Does what I expect it to as a music player widget, making it easy to control the playback. I'd like to see support for standard media keys, but I don't know if it's possible with Jetpack, especially in a way that supports Linux.
However, a missing crucial piece for me is the ability to open a pre-existing youtube playlist and have it play songs from it. Released albums will almost always have prepared playlists with all the songs in them already, I just want a way to play it with an easier to control UI than a tab stashed away somewhere I can't quickly turn off when a co-worker asks me a question. As it is, FIreTube gives me no way to use that, and I'd have to search painstakingly for each and every song in turn, recreating the playlist.
Its great, thought it didn't work at first, it was because i didnt have adobe flash(I did a lean install of windows 7) I reccommend to anyone!
If you have firfox 29 then get the restore addon bar addon, it really helps with space.
I like it so far have not learned to save songs to playlist.I will update my review later with more use, I recomend for music lover like myself
It's really amazing love this addon very much
Everything works perfectly now. Awesome addon.
Using Firefox 29 (Beta) - so everything in url bar, removed 'Currently Playing' , 'Downloads' and 'spacers' to make room for all my add-ons icons. 'Currently Playing' never showed what was playing so won't miss it!
Left click 'current time/duration' for volume control. (for Jenniechenniee below)
Excellent add-on, Thank you!!
Works perfectly. Only wished that I could have more than 20 songs in my playlist. :(
1. Adjusting volume option
2. Every time I restart Firefox (for example, after I download an add-on), the song that was previously playing when I closed the browser stops and the queue has to start over again. If you could fix this so that it continues where you left off, that would save me (and others) the trouble of having to look up the song again and playing it from the beginning.
Other that that, I really like the functionality of this add-on and it saves me from being distracted by the actual video.
Overall amazing! (:
A website called "newbrowserversion.org" popped up on my computer today by surprise.
That was not to long after I downloaded this addon, which works well. It currently contains a popup redirect to a malicious site.
The website claims firefox needs updating.
I have been in the field long enough to tell a fake.
If you don't want to take my word for it.
Virus Report on the "Update".
Even if you still don't believe me, goto virustotal.com.
Type in newbrowserversion.org.
It will say the website was first scanned January 12th, which
Version 1.6.3 Released December 8, 2013 407.7 KB Works with Firefox 19.0 and later.
And to top off my proof.
Pass this on.
Don't click on anything!
At least not until a patch is released.
I am hoping this is a coincidence and not a security vulnerability in my addon. I have just checked the external links that point to my site and I have verified that they are not infected with any malware on numerous scanners.
Be sure you are using the latest Adobe Flash Player. A possible vulnerability is to have an out-of-date flash player, which can be very prone to attacks. Also, be sure to download and install FireTube only from the FireFox gallery.
The other external sites are youtube, google+ and facebook which are referenced through official APIs. This seems to be a recent and somewhat common problem. I found a forum post containing the same site you had mentioned: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/984155.
I will continue to watch for suspicious activity and investigate the problem further. Feel free to contact me at email@example.com if you find any new information.
corre a la perfección en Firefox 26.0
Increíble, no sabia que existía, es genial. Gracias por compartirla.
dobry dodatek POLECAM
I love this addon, if I made a list of must-have addons, this would be on there without a doubt. I was blown away by how easy it is and how well it works. It is now extremely convenient to listen to the music I want, even more convenient than Spotify (and there are no audio ads). It isn't just a music player, if you want to listen to any podcasts or anything like that you can do that too as long as it's on youtube. The download feature is also very nice and extremely fast, much faster than any of the youtube-mp3 converters you can find out there. I haven't made any playlists yet but I can tell I will be amazed by how simple and powerful they are. I would give this a 5/5, though there is one problem I have with it.
I really like this addon, but I think it needs an option to change how it displays on the addon bar. It takes up way too much room so I can't use any of my other addons to the right of it if the window isn't full-size. I'd recommend something like how Firefox allows you to move icons around. Also, changing the size of the title bar is a MUST. I tried changing things around with Firefox's customize menu but it seems hard-coded to change to that same configuration every time you load a new window. I really like personalization and I hate when things are stuck the way they are with no way to change it. I changed from Chrome to Firefox for this reason, and this addon has pretty much no personalization at all. Or maybe it is there and I just can't find it. Either way, I give this addon a 4/5 for now, if the personalization issue gets fixed, that will change to 5/5.
In regards to the lack of personalization and the ability to save the location of moved widgets. I have opened up forums regarding this issue. After some discussions, we have deemed it to be an SDK issue. I am currently using the the Aurora build 28.0a2 and it does seem to be playing nicely with this. Although I'm not sure what exactly you are trying to customize. Feel free to PM to discuss this further and thanks for the kind review.
Excelente y muy rápida herramienta. Justo lo que buscaba, algo liviano para escuchar música de youtube.
