    • Alerts are now raised per episode and measured against the furthest episode
      the site marks as watched. The old single "newest known episode" baseline
      could silently suppress every future alert for a dub.
    • Opening an alert no longer marks the whole show as watched, and no longer
      removes the other pending alerts.
    • Closing an alert with × dismisses just that episode. It stays closed and
      never counts as watched.
    • Episodes that a dub hasn't released yet are skipped instead of alerting.
    • The newest and the previous season are both checked, so a dub still
      releasing into season 1 can alert alongside a new season 2.
    • Immer reports everything new; Auf dem neuesten Stand only the next one.
    • Signed out, there are no alerts — the navigation only carries the site's
      demo favourites at that point.
    • The dub is now remembered per show instead of one global setting, so
      watching a dub on one show no longer changes which episodes get reported
      for the others.
    • Language codes are normalised. A code shown as "DE" used to be sent as-is,
      which the site doesn't match, so it silently fell back to the default dub.
    • Changing a show's language rebuilds its alerts and discards the old dub's
      positions and dismissals.
    • New "Alles zurücksetzen" in the settings clears all BetterBS data from both
      browser and extension storage, signs you out, and reloads.
    • A "next episode" panel in the player, and continuation into the next season
      once a dub finished one.
    • Episodes not yet released in the chosen dub are labelled as such instead of
      showing a bare dash.
    • Season 0 (Specials) is no longer read as season 1, and titles containing
      "%" or other odd characters no longer break URL parsing.
    • A refused reCAPTCHA challenge is now reported as such instead of a generic
      failure.
    • Signing in is now detected when the session cookie is HttpOnly, so
      favourites and alerts are correct in that case too.
    • Storage and scraping are guarded against malformed values that could leave
      the page blank.
    • Debug logging routed through a single helper; leftover temporary
      diagnostics removed.
