it does not work !

by clicking on 'Install' it just downloads the file
by clicking on launch it also downloads *.application file.

So it's nowhere close how it works with IE

What's the issue?

What issue are you actually having? As far as I can tell, you're the only person having any issues. Cheers, Danny.

EDIT: Based on your edit, at a guess, it sounds like the server you're downloading from is misconfigured. Whilst IE can presumably guess it is a manifest even without the server telling it this add-on will only work if the server reports the .application file is actually a ClickOnce manifest (as it's supposed to work). Do you get this behaviour with all sites? What version of IE are you testing against? What OS? Email me at opensource a@t rushyo.com with the details. Thanks!

It works, and now I don't have to use IE for clickonce installations, it's really what I wanted.

I would like to have auto launching, but it's good enough even now.

Works nice, but... Bedømmelse: 3 ud af 5 stjerner

It'd be nice an option to automatically open the .NET app, without having tot click the new button. Is it possible?

I'm sure it's possible, I'm just not sure whether it's necessary. Unless a bunch of people have a strong use case I'd like to avoid anything 'automatic' because then I need to add preferences and, doh, it's no longer micro and streamlined :)

This extension just works, nice and clean.

It always pops up a dialog box "You have chosen to open [app name], would you like to save this file" and you have to select "ClickOnce Install", which is a minor inconvenience... I'll log something in the Support section.

But apart from that, a very nice extension.

Does exactly what the description suggests.

Was a nice find after upgrading to FF8, and the previous Microsoft version deciding not to work.

I can't set any of its features up (in theory I don't know what FxClickOnce actually does).
There is no "Options" window.

Since then, I can't see what's the advantage of this add-on against the ugly Microsoft version of .NET Framework assistant.

Sorry, but... I'll stick with old FFClickOnce (forcing compatibility with Add-On Compatibility Reporter).

There is no 'options' window because it doesn't have any. When you access a ClickOnce manifest, it gives you an option to ClickOnce Install. That's all it does - as per the description.
