This add-on was great, but Youtube ruined it. So Dishita developed a desktop app that eventually stopped working, but I sent an e-mail and they replied quickly with a link to an even better version of the program. If your app doesn't work anymore, you should contact their support; the latest version is noticeably better.

Analogueman...how dare you refer to people here as idiots! The stand alone desktop app doesn't work either. I've talked privately to a dozen people in the US who have shown me evidence it doesn't work. That evidence speaks for itself. Why FF continues to recommend the add-on simple serves to establish they don't even pay any attention to the complaints because they don't give a rat's xxx! Maybe you're one of Dishita's trolls??? Who do you think are posting the fake 5 stars reviews??? We all agree FF needs to remove the add-on. If Dishita has in fact abandoned it then he should inform FF to remove it...

Been using this addon for a couple years now. The add-on works great and support has been responsive and quick to assist in using the app as well as resolving any issues that come up.

And STILL we have idiots (above and below) posting 5-star reviews for the 'Pro Version' of this product when in actual fact they're refering to the Developer's recent stand-alone desktop program rather than this Firefox browser Add-On.

How difficult is it to understand - the two products are completely different animals.

This Firefox Add-On has been broken since Spring 2024, and has now been abandoned by the Developer. Why Firefox won't remove it is mystifying.

Reviews for his other desktop product have no place here, as it's nothing whatsoever to do with this (non-working) browser Add-On, and is misleading for those unaware of it's broken status.

Excellent application. YT keeps blocking new versions, but the current beta is very effective and works on YT and elsewhere.

A note to all who complained this extension no longer works on YouTube -- This is true, because YouTube is constantly changing the code settings, not an error by Dishita the extension author. You now sign on to the new PRO UPGRADE. Windows 7 OS (and later) now work with the PRO UPGRADE. Dishita and I emailed back and forth testing PRO UPGRADE on my WIN 7 OS desk top. The PRO UPGRADE flawlessly downloads individual and multiple music files, spoken blogs such as TED, full movies like Hallmark, etc. The new upgrade version is easy to use.

Hi Dishita, from what you are writing it seems you are really working on this extension. But the free version fails on my configurations:

Easy Youtube Video Downloader Express 17.4 (Oct 16 2021) by Dishita: "If you’re unable to see the download button, try refreshing the page. 360p and 720p downloads should work directly ensuring they remain FREE.
Videos having 720p 60fps streams will only work after the next addon update."

Since I couldn't get the free version running for at least 360p videos, please understand that I am not trying out the paid version.

The extension doesn’t work. Maybe the ProVersion does, but not the extension.
Remove the extension, at least remove the badge „recommended“, since that badge should only refer to extensions of outstanding quality.
