well it's good in general but far from ideal. For corporate sites it's a must-have: its filter mode is often better than the corporate "Dark" mode even if it exists.


I miss a method to disable or alter modes based on the full URL instead of domain (this will immensely help for plaintext in particular).
Also it doesn't invert PDFs.

Three things annoy me about it: the slowness of the dynamic modes, failure of Filter mode to display plaintext files readably (they show them as an black text on an almost-black background), and inability to crate full-page screenshots with Filter modes (the part of the page which isn't displayed at the time of the screenshot doesn't have the inverted colours). This all annoys me far less than the white-background sites, like addons.mozilla.org (and there are others too which somehow avoid being inverted while not being protected), but that's not the add-on failure, partly because I can swiftly mitigate the add-on troubles using hotkeys.

The developers behind this are absolute heroes for constantly maintaining and extending this plugin. It must be an incredibly daunting task, trying to ensure *every* website out there can have a good-looking dark mode applied in a performant/efficient way on page load. Make sure you don't just use the plugin but subscribe with a donation. I recently read an update from them about having to deal with a very tricky performance issue in Firefox and it made me realise how much I take this plugin for granted and the pressure they're under. Thank you guys! 🙌🏼

Sometimes there are some bugs, or performance issues, but it is WAY better than anything else available!

The creator also puts in A LOT of effort, so I recommend others to donate!

Slows down YouTube immensely. Even when toggled off.

I've been using this for a while, and it works fairly good. Could it have better controls per website? Absolutely. But, it's currently the best there is, and prevents me from staring into the sun on my 43" monitor.

Firsty, page rendering is absolutely beautiful, probably most effective single ACCESIBILTY solution we have. Spares one the need load custom CSS for every page (if we can code or find it)... An option to specify font even... However (cough)

The initial presentation is downright ugly.

**INCLUDES A HUGELY INVASIVE START PAGE** sporting no less than 3 "DONATE" elements -- Could these not be more subtle? At least (please?) add a tick-box to close it?

This extension has saved me from so many headaches. I used to have to rely on each site having its own native dark mode, and found myself suffering when they didn't but with this I can finally rest my eyes on sites that DON'T have a native dark mode
