A very useful addin Ohodnoceno 5 z 5 hvězdiček
This was something I was looking for. Works very well and easy to install.
It's an excellent add-on, it just needs an update because it's now broken Ohodnoceno 3 z 5 hvězdiček
I'm not sure if the mismatch is due to Lightning's latest update (Dec 2013 as of right now). I get a complete hang within 30 sec of loading Thunderbird, and it just keeps freezing.
I admire the developer's work, and since I I don't have the knowledge to do the same (or edit the extension), I'm now using the Google Calendar Tab which serves my purpose anyway. I can't do things offline but since I want to stay synced with Google Calendar (I use it on my phone, etc.) it's okay. And I'll keep an eye out to any update from this extension.
As always, when something is provided free and it's something I have no way of reproducing myself, I am truly grateful to the developer for having gone this far and all the efforts that have been put in this extension until now!
No longer works Ohodnoceno 1 z 5 hvězdiček
TB24.0.2, Lightning 2.6.4, Provider 0.25
This used to work perfectly. Now since December, Thunderbird freezes on opening and can only be opened in safety mode. Disabling Provider enables TB to work again. Come on - please fix it - clearly I am not the only one having problems..

Have used this add on for a number of years and loved it. Now not so much. Not all of my events sync and when I add them from Thunderbird they disappear never to be found again. I used this so I could keep up with appointments of other family members. What can be done to correct this problem as it makes no sense to use it if it will not sync all of my appointments or lose my appointments.Tento uživatel má jednu dřívější recenzi tohoto doplňku.

even with all other plugins deactivated (not many of them) Thunderbird freezes - before that just nice work!

Is it really that hard to remember a password?
I use two factor authentication and since this addon can't even use the password manager to remember a simple password, everytime I restart Thunderbird, I have to either generate a new application password, or I have to remember/save the application password somewhere, either way it totally defeats the purpose.
Oh well, this addon used to be pretty good. It's just sad to see it fall into such a state of disrepair. I guess it's back to read-only ics calendars for me.

All seems to stem from a beta version (27.0) of Thunderbird. I reverted back to 24.2 and everything is working again, including Lightning 2.6.4. This is still a top-notch add-on but needs brought in line with newer versions of TB and Lightning.Tento uživatel má jednu dřívější recenzi tohoto doplňku.
Stopped Working Ohodnoceno 1 z 5 hvězdiček
A once terrific Add-on stopped working several weeks ago. None of my calendars read or write to or from Google any longer.
Please fix, and I will be more than happy to revise my review. Thank you.

My calendars stopped working a few weeks ago, after an update. Can't give a positive rating to a product that doesn't work.
Not all events are syncing Ohodnoceno 1 z 5 hvězdiček
I have several events on my calendar that don't show up in Lightning! I'm not sure exactly what is different for these events from other ones that do sync, except that I am listed as an optional attendee.Tento doplněk má 2 předchozí recenze tohoto doplňku.
Really confused where to enter password Ohodnoceno 2 z 5 hvězdiček
If this would work I might like it better. It says in the Wiki I can type in an email and password to access a calendar but for the life of me I must be blind. I cannot find anywhere in the interface to enter the email and password in to my other Google calendar.
I want to access a friend's calendar I have access too, but I am asked for a password!
No problem! As long as you have this calendar added in the Google Calendar web interface, just enter the email address and password for your own Google account.
It seems to latch on the the Gmail account set up in Tbird which is my business account. I use a smart phone for which I have a separate Google account and I need to sync to that calendar not my business calendar which I never use. I assume the instruction to "access a friend's calendar" is no different than accessing another calendar of my own.
So please some one tell me where I enter this email and password??? As you can see the Wiki says I can but does not have any instructions as to HOW ???
It would seem to me this should be a basic configuration option located some where easy to find!
Thunderbird hangs on start Ohodnoceno 1 z 5 hvězdiček
Thunderbird locks with a screen "access to google calendar" and won't start.
The only way to start is to kill the thunderbird task from task manager, restart in safe mode and disable the google provider. Thunderbird 24.1.0 google provider 0.25.

Addon no longer working - rendering T-bird & Lightning unusable Ohodnoceno 1 z 5 hvězdiček
What's going on? It took me a while to figure out that this addon (provider for google calendar) was rendering my Thunderbird/Lightning unusable/not responding. My google calendar xml URL appears not to have changed from before (I had to go into t-bird registry to see this since I can't enable Provider without crashing the application.)
I've tried killing/restarting countless times. I've removed and re-installed t-bird and add-ons - while not deleting the profile.
Fix For Google CalDav Change Ohodnoceno 4 z 5 hvězdiček
Like others, my Google calendar stopped working the last few weeks and couldn't find a complete fix. Searched around and found out there were changes made to Google's CalDav URL. This extension provides a fix by using your xml address for the URL. You can find it by logging into your Google calender. Go to Settings - Calendars - Choose your calendar and click on either of the orange xml buttons. Copy that URL and paste it into the URL field in your thunderbird calendar setup.
Works fine on my system Ohodnoceno 5 z 5 hvězdiček
At fist, I encountered the same problems described in the previous comment titled "Broken".
Thunderbird froze after adding a Google Calender.
After killing the Thunderbird process and restarting (in normal mode), it seemed to work fine.
However, Thundebird froze again when I added my first test event to the calendar.
After killing the Thunderbird process once or twice, it finally seems to work fine.
I am not sure why I encountered these issues at first (maybe this is the "issues with Google's API access rules" mentioned in the add-on's description?), but they appear to be gone now: I can read and write events to my Google calendar as expected.
Haven't tried tasks which are not yet supported according to the description.
My system specs:
* Windows Vista, SP 1
* Thunderbird 24.0
* Lightning 2.6
* Provider for Google Calendar 0.25
Latest version seems fundamentally broken Ohodnoceno 1 z 5 hvězdiček
It's always been a bit temperamental in the past, but the latest version simply seems to throw [Exception... "[xpconnect wrapped nsIURI]" nsresult: "0x804b000a (NS_ERROR_MALFORMED_URI)"errors now when trying to connect to Google Calendar via Lightning. It also seems to hang on startup, to the point where I had to start Thunderbird with the "-p" option and delete my working profile entirely to start afresh. Shame...
no support for invites Ohodnoceno 2 z 5 hvězdiček
it is very limited, you can not choose an email for this calendar type to use if a calendar invite will be received via email, and it is not possible to add this to calendar
