Helpful but the clipping feature is a problem Ohodnoceno 3 z 5 hvězdiček
I like this add-on to get clean pages to read and print out. However, I find clipping things to my Evernote notebooks is a problem. It does clip them, but for some reason it takes a while (and more than one sync to get the clips into the Evenote notebooks on my computer. Though, for some reason, the clips show up on my iPad right away; confusing.
Given this, it would be nice if the link given on the Firefox site page describing the add on linked to a page with help files rather than to a page trying to sell you clearly and Evernote.
Misleading Description Ohodnoceno 3 z 5 hvězdiček
This add-on does not look at all like the screen shot in the description. In fact, what you get is a page headed STARTME, with a bunch of links to the usual mix of web services. In order to personalize, you must register with them. I have uStart.org as my homepage and it provides much more by way of options & personalization, without requiring registration.
Another annoying thing about this add-on is that whenever you try to open a new tab, you are immediately taken to the STARTME page, so you get no benefit from the Firefox feature that shows pages you've looked at recently. Also annoying: because the add-on has a name that is not shown anywhere on the screen, when you go into your list of add-ons to delete or disable it, you tend to be looking for STARTME, not YOURLS. The name of the add-on should be changed to its current name.
If this is what you want, it seems to do the job, (hence three stars), but you should know more about what you are getting.

I love this addon. It's easy to use, and great for tired old eyes. It helps me make the best use of the space available on my monitor.
My one issue is that sometimes I forget that my screen is enlarged and get annoyed when something runs off the bottom of the screen. This, of course, is a problem of my tired brain rather than the add on. If the developers could come up with a "Here's What You're Forgetting" add on, I'd be happy to see them become fabulously wealthy, as they certainly would.
Doesn't work for me anymore Ohodnoceno 2 z 5 hvězdiček
I used to like this add-on, but for several months now, it just doesn't work for me. I don't know if the problem is that my Firefox is overloaded with add ons, or my computer doesn't have enough juice (though sharaholic worked on this computer in the past) or with the addon itself.
At any rate, since most of time I share links by email, I'm going to deactivate it and go back to plain old Firefox sharing.
Is it absolutely necessary to have an account? Ohodnoceno 3 z 5 hvězdiček
I know from reviews here and in the Apple App Store that there are a growing number of people who don't like to have to open accounts in order to use an app or add-on. So I suggest that the developers make it very clear in the description that a membership is required to use this add-on. It would be better for them because they won't have customers who are surprised (and likely annoyed) by the requirement after they have installed Zemanta.
Too Much Pressure to Socialize Ohodnoceno 1 z 5 hvězdiček
I first got this as an app on my iPad because it looked like a nice note taking app. In reality, it is a social media app & add-on. Every time I go to look at my notebooks, I'm being urged to follow other people's notebooks and to let them follow mine. I only have time for so much socializing, I'm getting really tired of having social media aggressively shoved at me everywhere. Moreover, I don't want to share my personal notes and bookmarks with anyone & everyone. On top of that, I've found that Springpad is slow accessing my notepads on my iPad. Evernote is much better. I'm going to move the content of my Springpad notebooks, and then drop both the app and the add-on.
VisualizeUs Ohodnoceno 1 z 5 hvězdiček
The description of what this add-on does and the service it is linked to should be more clearly written, so that you know that the add on is really a way to suck you into joining a social network.
When I read the description of this add on, I thought that you could use VisualizeUS to create a collection of pictures you like, but keep the collection private and, if you chose, share the collection with a few others. Basically, I wanted a way to group pictures that interest me without joining a large, wide-open social network. In fact, this is an add-on for people who want to be part of the VisualizeUS social network -- which seems to be a very open network. I gather from other reviews that the add-on makes it easier to post to the social network -- and maybe also to Facebook and Tumblr via VisualizeUs.(I couldn't figure out for sure.) VisualizeUS does not seem to give you even the limited level of privacy that Facebook does, because every VU member can see what every other VU member posts.
That's fine if it is what you want, but that is not what I wanted. I also did not want to be forced to look for my Facebook friends the first time I tried to use VisualiseUs. I could not get past the "look for your friends" page to even see my posted picture. I know social networking is the rage, but I'm really sick of having every other service on the web insist that I rope other people into using their service. It's as if they're trying to turn us all into AmWay sales persons. I don't have time to read about everything everyone I know likes on line, and I don't want anyone and everyone on line to see what I like.
