Zemanta ltd. also collects potentially personally-identifying information like Internet Protocol (IP) addresses. Zemanta ltd. does not use such information to identify visitors of Zemanta.com

Gathering of Personally-Identifying Information

Protection of Certain Personally-Identifying Information
Zemanta ltd. discloses potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information only to those of its employees, contractors, and affiliated organizations that (i) need to know that information in order to process it on Zemanta ltd.'s behalf or to provide services available at Zemanta ltd.'s websites, and (ii) that have agreed not to disclose it to others. Some of those employees, contractors and affiliated organizations may be located outside of your home country; by using Zemanta ltd.'s websites, you consent to the transfer of such information to them. Zemanta ltd. will not rent or sell potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information to anyone. Zemanta service (Extension and API)
When you submit your content to Zemanta service for processing we retain the copy of the submitted content. Copy is not retained only in case when Zemanta Browser Extension submits the content of an e-mail message from mail composer view. Zemanta will store a copy of all returned metadata, content enhancements and transaction logs. Transaction logs of this process contain information such as date and time of the request and response, your Zemanta-assigned license key, information about the servers which processed your request and IP address of the request.
No web or API user is able to access the submitted content unless they provide both Request ID (RID) and API key that is connected to that RID. Both API key and RID are randomly generated and the likelihood of guessing them is extremely small - however not impossible. Trying to reach the content with submission of random RID is prohibited by Zemanta Terms of Service. Content, metadata, content enhancements and tranasaction logs retained by Zemanta will be used for purposes of improving the service, debugging and collecting statistics on service usage.
Zemanta ltd. retains the right to provide generated metadata and content enhancements to third parties if they provide correct RID. Zemanta ltd. also retains the right to publish aggregated statistics on both the submitted content and generated metadata and content enhancements.
