fyi. This does still work. Ohodnoceno 4 z 5 hvězdiček

Using Kodi v16.1 “Jarvis” - Firefox Latest.
* You must Allow cookies for it to work. o_o
- Tools-Options-Privacy-Accept cookies from sites.
- Then set up the connection in this addon.
... your kodi-Pc-Local-iP: 192.168.x.x Port: 9090
.. after that.. you can uncheck the allow cookies back.
* I also use Cookie Monster.
* I also had to re-enable Block All cookies again in cookie monster. I have it like that.. so only cookies that I allow are allowed. it makes it like noScript for cookies that way.

I give it a 4. Cause the in-Browser kodi remote tells me what's playing and what's coming up next. this don't.
* Kodi in-browser remote: with any web browser.
* In kodi.. System-Services-WebServer-Allow remote...
* and in RemoteControl- allow control on both options.
* In-Browser: Go to: your Kodi-Pc's local ip + port 8080.
example: h t t p : / /192.168.x.x:8080

But either way.. i will just use both for now..
The addon remote looks very nice though..

This is a very handy addon and loved to use it, until it worked no more.

Thank you... works well for me here too, any chance of adding the ability to send a url from clipboard to xbmc/kodi this way we can send any ulr as right click doesn't always show, deserves 5 stars then :)
Well Done on this addon, Keep up the good work

Thanks for your feedback, much appreciated.
Regarding sending url to kodi from clipboard, I don't think it would be possible since - this remote was code using only javascript and HTML, not sure clipboard is available from JS. - and also I want to keep the remote clean and simple.
I think you are looking for something like "Send to XBMC" addon.

Not working on xbmc 14 Helix (Kodi) Ohodnoceno 2 z 5 hvězdiček

It doesn't seems to work with the Kodi (xbmc 14.0 Helix). It doesn't work with 9090 and BTW there's no setting on XBMC to change the port setting (so I haven't changed it from 9090 default). On the PC running kodi "Allow other program to control kodi" is enabled as it is enabled the http and the upnp dlna server too
I even tried the chrome extension but I have the same problem

But it seems to work

Hi.. I am sorry to hear that. I am sure it is something to do with your firewall. It seems to work for me. Attaching screenshot:

Great plugin. Deliveres what it claims. Wish it had a one touch button to cycle through available video aspects.

Very nice Ohodnoceno 5 z 5 hvězdiček

This does exactly what I need it to do. Sometimes while I'm working on the laptop and watching something on XBMC it's nice to have a handy remote without finding the actual remote or using my mobile. The icon's quickly-accessible and functions correctly. Thank you for making this!
